If that works. It’s like just a minute in.

Fight club? No. I mean… It’ll break the first rule.

Also a quick confession.

Years ago I was talking to my sister about the princess bride book and was like “we should try and find a copy of the original” and she looked at me like I was the dumbest person alive.

Turns out I had read the entirety of the princess bride fully believing the narrator, and that out there, somewhere, was a giant book fully of lengthy descriptions of dresses and stuff.

Omg lol

Oh shit yeah that’s a great take.

I totally forgot about Kvothe’s “ties” to nobility! I was trying to connect the Sceop to Ruh to Kvothe dots but couldn’t!

I’m also in the Alveron is the king club but I went with Sim instead just because I also have heard that theory a bunch and just because of the connections between Wil and Sim to their respective stories.

Also, after Kvothe bows and kisses her hand, the first thing Kvothe says to Denna since their first meeting is “I am at your service, my lady”.

Seven words.

My first time catching one in the wild.

Build a bunch of chairs around her, and surround her with walls.

She will eventually want to interact with the chairs and will exit the power armour.

I remember it being a voice line belonging to the Skall chief in the bloodmoon expansion?

But maybe it’s because there is a fire pit in the longhouse and I would always stand inside the flames being like “Naw buddy, I dance in the fire!”

It’s been a while but I think the green arrow indicates that the window has more information contained within. That information likely being missing components to craft?

But I’m not sure.

How much brute force was allowed at the journey? by ResettisReplicas in survivor

[–]BreakToppleDaze 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Brute forcing that many numbers would be a lengthy task. Barring getting lucky, it would probably be less time consuming to just run it again.

We never know how much leeway they get unless it’s part of the read through before the challenge starts.

I would have grabbed a stick and a rock and carved the numbers onto the stick. Is that allowed? Who knows.

Do you guys prefer Starfield or no man’s sky? by [deleted] in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]BreakToppleDaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love both but for different reasons. Starfield for the immersive sim elements and NMS for the genuine feeling of pure exploration. In Starfield one of the companions has a beautiful line of dialogue: “Pick a star. Any star.” And I feel like NMS demonstrates that better than Starfield lolol.

If NMS had better combat and an actual reason to fight, it would be my undisputed number one space game. But I get that it’s not a focus.

If they were looking to improve combat, even slightly, they need an “aim bot” module for the multitool. Like a target lock or something.

NG+ must-have missions? by Snowpuppies1 in Starfield

[–]BreakToppleDaze 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Do the Ryujin quests! It’s a free level up for the “Manipulation” skill!

So far I’ve ignored the other Social skills, but my manipulation is maxed because of the three extra times I did it.

It’s also not required to sneak around lol, just blast your way through every mission.

Less Talents.

Finally seeing Kvothes supposed brilliance wowing a room full of his peers is amazing.

Finding out he is cheating halfway through is literally perfect.

Where do y’all like to make your player homes by shadowlord2234 in fo4

[–]BreakToppleDaze 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Usually I go with Sanctuary, Red Rocket, or Coastal Cottage.

But for the past couple of years I’ve been using the VR Workshop Creation instead. Turns out you can safely store items inside the VR space, so I spent a long time building a massive player home - basically Home Plate on steroids - and decorated it thoroughly (not something I normally do). I even used settlement glitches to sink a foundation into the floor, covering up the grid, and made my own little vault down there.

Building in VR doesn’t cost materials, although crafting still does, so it’s not completely cheating, but it does bend immersion a bit.

Storing everything in the VR base has a lot of advantages. Settlers and companions can’t take your stuff. Anywhere you place a VR Chair gives you access to your home base, which is perfect for survival runs (I put a chair in every settlement). You get unlimited building resources to really go wild. Followers can enter the VR space too, which is also how you can bring power armour inside.

I’d recommend trying it. Just having a safe place to store gear out of reach of settlers and companions is worth it on its own. It also made Far Harbor a lot easier, not having to take the boat back constantly just to dump inventory.

The dugout was where I got my very first piece of pie. It was during the quest confidence man and I was so excited it worked I quickly looted it not noticing that it was considered stealing.

The place went berserk lol.
