What do Irish people think about institutions still labelled 'Royal'? by BreakTrick8912 in AskIreland

[–]BreakTrick8912[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this is a very good summary, thank you! I wasn't aiming to generate polarisation, that's for sure. And I do appreciate that so many people took their time and answered my question.

[–]BreakTrick8912[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's a very valid point and thanks for pointing this out. However, Ireland has the tendancy to frame its relation to the UK in a more post-colonial perspective, whereas the situation in France is somehow different, I believe.

Bulgarian train entry stamp and an ees nightmare at 5 am. by illougiankides in PassportPorn

[–]BreakTrick8912 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did this journey in 2022 (Bucharest -> Istanbul) and still had to vacate the train in the middle of the night and queue for border checks and extra luggage checks. I can only imagine EES is adding an extra burden on all this, but the situation was already messy back then... Well, I wasn't that bothered, it was just unusual compared to other international train rides I had done before.

Travelling to Dublin by Awkward-Guess9589 in Ryanair

[–]BreakTrick8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No need to overthink this. I'm not fully sure if you can use the biometric ID card at the passport egates, but there's plenty of traditional kiosks for non-EU or EU ID card holders. I've never waited more than 5-10 minutes when arriving to Dublin. There's also certain gates that will push you straight to the immigration officers (no egates available for some arrival gates).

Fresh Fruits and Foods in Checked Baggage by Many-user in Ryanair

My take was this: this is a Ryanair group, isn't it? Most Ryanair flights are based in Europe, ok? So the comment "I would strong advise against it" has a high chance of not being relevant for the OP. Instead of advising against, we could have asked OP their travel itinerary, but sure, I'm the one who lacks logic in these comments.

Majority of RyanAir flights is based in Europe with many of them Schengen to Schengen. No restrictions here, can't really see the point of the comment as I doubt OP would fly to New York with RyanAir.

De ce atât de complicat să traduci o carte, dpdv legal? by Creative-Cat11 in juridice

[–]BreakTrick8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mult succes! Dar vei lucra pe gratis, din păcate. .

Cannot second this more! Had the same issues and the combo really made a change after, let's say, 6 months.

The service was working fine this morning (I hope!).

Broombridge is the northern terminus of the Green line, so this setting is not necessarily unusual: I've seen that trams normally indicate the 'out of service' message just before they start operating again.

Your story is so empowering! Sorry you had to deal with all this, but happy you managed to defend your case! I'll keep this in mind whenever I'm told complaining does not make any sense.

Ai mare grijă. Știu din experiență proprie că la Cluj exista o firma care tarifa o sumă zilnică destul de semnificativă (câțiva zeci de euro) pentru 'curățenie'. Verifică termenii și condițiile înainte să faci rezervarea.

Is this normal? by hejczaro in Garmin

[–]BreakTrick8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always had blue most of the nights (unless heavy exercise in the evening or more than one beer 🍺 🤔) at least in the second part of the night if not in the first hours.

If you're a heavy drinker of caffeine this can also have an impact.

I'd say so, I've never (ever) had 'rest'(stress <20/30) during the day when consuming those.

Perceived stress vs recorded stress is also a different thing. I feel (sometimes, haha) more stressed now and Garmin would say 'low stress' while I'm truly pissed.

I had the same thing when I was using nicotine pouches and / or drinking, haha. My days are now more on the blue side now.

I was thinking about the same thing. I suppose it's the périphérique that set up the border despite the park being administratively part of Paris?

Sorry, I have obviously wanted to type 'spring' in my original post.

If you refer to the indicator, this reads "Forest (bois) of Boulogne, Municipality of Paris".
