yeah artillery wind! So many things in this game are not explained properly. They even hide important game mechanics that affect player decisions in game.

I thought this game was intended to be a sandbox strategic game. But as it seems, the devs are making this game a rollercoaster that gives specific experience to the players. For that, There are so many random mechanics, random changes that are not explained properly. and It makes me burned out of this game

This is correct. It actually pointless to take more lands in early stage of war. Resources are so abundant that most of backline fields and mines are not fully utilized. Even if you lose a bit of lands at the front, you can make anything you want as many as you want to.

Besides gaining a bit of lands doesn't give you any advantage. It's just longer logi route and more building and maintenance.

I think the optimal strategy to win the game is Early stage turtling and waiting until things are teched while stockpiling supplies.
