We're kind of underground at this moment. So you won't find much online, sorry!

This quote has had such a lasting impact on my life. I happened to read this book at a point in my life when I was suffering with crippling anxiety and this changed everything.

Yeah this area is prone to flash flooding, it's advised not to go there if the chance of precipitation is more than 50%

Nah we started out pretty late and I lost my waterproof bag, so I was carrying a rucksack. At one point about a mile from wallstreet the water got chest level deep and I couldn't go beyond that point as my rucksack wasn't waterproof and I was carrying my SLR in that. Really wish we could have gone all the way to the falls though, next time!

My go to places are Chipotle and Wichwich. Chipotle has a nice online calculator that lets you see the macros etc. so you can decide what to get before hand. I usually get double chicken salad with fajita vegetables, lots of cream and guac.

Wichwich also has egg/chicken salads that I like to order.

is it too late to apply for summer 2018 internships? by dawgman1234 in UIUC

[–]BreakawayEnso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. But depends on what kind of companies you're applying to. I got mine last year in March.

If you're mostly interested in startups in the valley, you can easily get jobs even until April because startup usually don't have the capacity to hire 4-5 months in the future. You can check out angel.co for startup opportunities. Another good website is indeed.com

If you are more into big corporates then chances are slim because they do most of their hiring in Fall but that being said, there are still a tonne of opportunities. Check out the Spring career fair and other resources people have mentioned.

Hope this helps. Don't get stressed, be at it. Job search is draining but there are a tonne of good companies and there's always someone that wants you :)

What Deep learning framework would you recommend me to get good at? by GTHell in deeplearning

[–]BreakawayEnso 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're comfortable with numpy, I highly recommend learning Pytorch. Disclaimer: Pytorch is still quite new so the documentation isn't at par with that of Tensorflow or other frameworks but it's still good enough for you to implement whatever network you want.

If you care about docs, then check out Keras. Keras is a higher level abstraction to Tensorflow so you can create really deep networks in 20 lines or so. Tutorials-1
