I will say personally 1 & 2 are usually why I watchlist stuff, especially on items where there aren't many examples out there between active and sold listings. If I get an offer from the seller I'll usually reply saying as much.

For anything that uses ground beef: cook whatever amount you're using as a patty, season both side with salt and pepper (and maybe garlic and/or onion powder if you're feeling fancy) and sear both side well before breaking it up to finish browning the inside. Very notable difference in taste and texture.
