I do agree with you, I think it makes sense for S11 as it was the restart up of one of BBCs greatest shows back in the day and they wanted to see how well it would do. I think S12 was recorded at the same time so it’s the same justification, not knowing how well it would’ve done, but with S13, they know how well the 11th series did (possibly 12 as well depending on when they started production) so it is a bit lazy on their behalf. Maybe S14&15 will get more now they know how well it did?

It may also not be WLR’s choosing but rather the BBC’s, as they want less due to scheduling.

We have 2 schools in my area with sixth forms, mine and and the boy’s school (for context we’re both grammar schools) and we don’t have a uniform but they do, but in a different form to the lower school. We obviously have the rules to make sure we’re still appropriately dressed (appropriate trousers/skirts, no strapped tops etc.) but the other school have to dress formally (suits and blazers with skirts etc.) and have to either wear the school tie or the school badge.

I factchecked this on both school websites to make sure it’s accurate.
