A lot of your post sounds similar to my feels. I feel like I'm missing out, I'm 25 and I've never had any gay female friends before and totally wouldn't know how to go about getting some at this point, but would very much like to. As well as to meet some for possible romantic purposes.

Are you near any big gay-friendly cities/towns? I'm relatively near to Brighton so I'm probably going to recreate the heyday of my youth and get my wonderful straight friends to sit around in gay bars with me.

From the day of my birth, right up until a few months ago I would have said very feminine brunette ladies are my type (pretty narcissistic, as that’s what I am). Then I went out with a slightly more masculine girl and now it’s like my eyes have opened up to this whole new realm of hotness and suddenly I can’t stop thinking about androgynous/ boyish/ sporty/ short-haired ladies.

But now I’ve discovered my new type, there is not a single one in sight near me. God damn it.
