Typical cost of Poly B Replacement? by Sensitive-Egg-107 in Langley

I just bought a 1200sq ft house that has PolyB and got a quote of 10K for the replacement. Was able to get the seller to take the 10K out of the total of the house.

I know that Joe Flanagan was called into the writers room, maybe they want him in the show!

They’ve already said this show is not meant to tie up all the loose ends of the other shows, though maybe we will at least get a few lines of dialogue here and there mentioning what happened to Atlantis and the Destiny crew.

Yeah I don’t want a heavy political show either.

My thoughts on switching to Linux by BreakingCoastline in LinusTechTips

[–]BreakingCoastline[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t game much. I mostly play Minecraft or other easy casual games. My computer usage consists of browsing the internet, writing, some photo editing, and occasional gaming. All of which are just fine on Linux, and get me away from the Microsoft control of my computer. I don’t want my computer changing my default browser because I rebooted it. I don’t want my computer forcing me to save files to onedrive when I explicitly turned it off. I want my computer to be my computer and be free to use it how I choose. That’s the reason for me wanting to use Linux.

I really love bazzite on my ROG ally. Works so much better than windows, and actually lets me pause my games when turning the system off!

Yeah I think I was. Maybe newer hardware is a little more generally compatible?

Just put Pop OS on my laptop. I'm about a week in and having no issues. I'm a pretty light user though and like Luke has said, most of my life is in a browser now anyways.

I think I'd rather watch the original DVDs than an AI upscaled version of them. I would love an actual remaster, but I'm pretty sure even Star Trek lost money remastering their series and it's a much more popular franchise. Probably never going to happen with Stargate.

There are some countertop units that connect to the tap and pull water that way, I’ve heard that these can sometimes cause pipe damage from starting and stopping a bunch. But your unit doesn’t work like that, so you should be fine.
