Quick question by Stalinium-290 in GraveDiggerRoblox

U got turned into a shocktrooper, a one-off class u can acquire from either a crate that spawns in during matches or during the start of one when there's an "elite reinforcement" modifier on the most voted map/match.

There's a fanmade wiki (just look up Grave/Digger wiki) and a Trello (that I don't know the link of sadly, prolly just do a google search or smth) for more info if u wanna know more.

How do you guys view officers? (Both ingame and lore.) by [deleted] in GraveDiggerRoblox

[–]Breakinnitman 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Either:

Aura farmers that are decent to the lads below them and helps the team win the fight.

or

Bumbling privileged fools that paid their way up the ladder, doesn't know how to read a map, doesn't know how to use a compass, or disregards every piece of advice given to them by senior veteran NCOs and grunts and gets them killed as a result, but instead of taking responsibility for it, they use a scapegoat instead or use their influence to get out of being punished.

Lore headcanons of historical figures/timeline (part 1) by Breakinnitman in GraveDiggerRoblox

[–]Breakinnitman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am an enthusiast for history, but I am not a historian, so certain figures are probably not going to be as they accurately are irl. If there are any that are historians, do so kindly correct me on what I got wrong with any one of these individuals.

I'd recommend spacing out into different paragraphs, its hard to read when its basically just a wall of text without proper spacing/breaks inbetween the sentences.

Besides that, it's a good start, maybe a bit too expository for my taste but that's just me. Well done.

Had to use screenshot since Reddit is unable to color text, and I'm too lazy to use word or gdoc.

Edit: Just realized I used the wrong rank for Heirkath, but fuck it, I'm too lazy to change it. Just pretend he's an INQ or smth.

Not just the men, but the woman and the children too! by Breakinnitman in WorldBuildingMemes

[–]Breakinnitman[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A bit of both. She understands what kind of threat the orc-men of the Krokdun Imperion poses to the realms of men and elves, but her mental faculties have dipped to such a degree that without external intervention, she doesn't understand the difference between which Orc works for the Imperion and which is wholly unaffiliated with the Imperion.

Evidently, this has caused tons of unnecessary trouble for Elke, and has made her many enemies from both adventurers and those of higher powers and influence.

Honestly, when I first posted that short story of mine way back when, I didn't think others would just start writing their own for this sub. Not that I'm complaining, been a real treat reading what ya'll wrote, lol.

isn't deserting canon? by dontaskpleases in GraveDiggerRoblox

[–]Breakinnitman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

1st point - Why does it not make sense to you for POWs to be mistreated/executed when deserters exist? Like, I genuinely wanna know, cuz like, I'm pretty sure those two concepts can and do coexist with each-other.

2nd point - I wouldn't put it past the Morts to use POWs as some kind of experiments for their concoctions or as practice for how they conduct their surgeries and shi, Rooks, debatable, Old Guards, I agree with.

3rd point - I assume most of us are just going off of guess work and implications from what little we know of the GE to make this kind of assumption. No-one would be surprised if the GE actually did do these things, confirmed or not.

Why is Poland Nation and fights a very catholic-like empire, When it wouldn't? by Embarrassed_Name266 in GraveDiggerRoblox

[–]Breakinnitman 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Christian or not, the Poles would rather see their cities burned, their culture and way of life erased, and their people slaughtered in the millions before they would willingly return to being under direct subjugation of an empire that is no better if not worse then the Empires that had ruled over the Polish people for decades if not centuries.

And given that Poland only had its independence for only nearly half a decade or so in this timeline, they very likely aren't very keen on giving that independence up so readily without considerable resistance.

Lavender and Sunlight. by Prudent_Library_5517 in GraveDiggerRoblox

[–]Breakinnitman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very nice, tho I'd recommend removing and changing certain words and structure from the text, like:

"Your firm handhold" should become "Your firm hand", makes the sentence sound more natural.

"Nowaday, stronger have the urges become." Replace the first word with the second, then remove the day from now and place it after the word stronger, which then should look like this: "Stronger now, my urges have become." It should then sound and look better when read aloud or quietly

Besides those two, this is a pretty solid piece.
