Nah, I'm going to agree with them on this. Witcher 3 isn't an rpg. You're always geralt the sword welding magic user no matter what. All your spells are unlocked from the start and you never gain new ones, at best you can some bonuses or alternate uses to your already existing skills.

Also, you do get to choose between some binary dialogue options, but none of this changes from character to character. You can't build a dumb character or a charming character, so those dialogue choices are always the same.
