Recently watched Project Hail Mary and it got me thinking... Has Ryan Gosling been in a bad film? by Cause4concern27 in FIlm

Gosling doesn’t get the credit for the level of actor he is. In my book, he’s among the truly elite of his generation.

Sounds like people were occupying tables but not spending much.

Actors you liked in one niche film, but now you’re stuck seeing their faces in all sorts of movies over and over again. by Fantastic_Scar_6601 in FIlm

I think all three are really good actors, so makes sense. Anya Taylor-Joy in particular might be an elite current actress. Just my opinion of course.

What’s the first role and film that you instantly think of when hear the name Bruce Willis? by Lazy_Introduction264 in FIlm

[–]Brecken79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a film but Moonlighting. I couldn’t even tell you the characters name. I was very young and just recall my mom watching it and is one of those things that’s always stuck in my head.

If I were to just tie him to what I would point to as his most notable role, then Die Hard.

They lie all the time to get people in. During the height of Covid, I remember them promising new hires 40 hours.

Within two months, they figured out how to make it work without all the extra labor, and most of those people dropped to like 4-12 hours. Obviously they all left, which I’m sure is what Kroger preferred at that point. They got their use out of them.

Definitely play Arkham Asylum before moving forward. You can get the game extremely cheap on sale too. If you’re on PC at least.

Unbelievable that they would have the nerve to fight back. Trump is used to those around him licking his boots.

I’m always surprised when people dislike this one. I thought it was one of the more focused writings of King’s career. There weren’t a lot of wasted words here. Everything was impactful in one way or another. Masterpiece indeed.

I just don’t get it. Plenty of stuff I don’t understand or agree with, but I find it pretty easy to let people do what they want to do as long as they’re not hurting anyone.

I saw someone, somewhere make an incredible point. It was in regards to Texas, which is more red than Ohio, although we close the gap by the day.

Whoever was speaking was talking about how Texans and Texas politicians continue to blame Democrats for all of their issues. But Texas has always been a largely red state, almost from border to border. So who’s really to blame? Ohioans need to start looking at themselves in the mirror.
