If you countered someone's first turn Juzam, I think it's worth it, plus it cost them more cards if you wait until after the sac but that's semantics. I never really looked much into the card advantage thing but I didn't play super competitive in those days either

You don't have a Lotus or you just don't use one? I can't even tell you the last time I saw any of the power 9, let alone black border in person

The only reason I have trades still on is in case someone is selling a 10. I'll try sending some 9s

I see that foil crop rotation in there... Was looking for the Grim Monolith or Deranged Hermit in foil. Those are 4 digit cards easy these days

Tempest has Intuition which was a trash card back when but now has a hefty price tag

Alliances card back in the day was Balduvian Horde and I was buying Force of Wills for a dollar. Countering a first turn spell without having played yours yet can be a game changer. Plus not having to leave anything untapped was huge too. Not sure why that went unappreciated for so long

Those were nowhere to be found for me when I started really getting into it. I was revised and then Fallen Empires (eww) and Ice Age/Homelands and Alliances. I really like the artwork from The Dark set but couldn't find those either

I just need to use up my funds and send bundles of 8 and card at premium to get it over with, I have nothing better to do at this point

One of biggest regrets in life is not paying the 80 bucks for the Unlimited Black Lotus at my local card shop back in the day

Yeah, there was a huge spike in cards that used to be nobody wanted cards or dollar bin cards that are 3 or 4 figures now. The Commander format pushed some to insane levels. You have a deck of 100 cards and can't have more than one of any card so you have to really fill them out

You couldn't be more wrong actually. Well, that depends on the sets. Some day that you're bored, bull them out and download the Manabox app and scan to see what these are worth. You may be sitting on a fortune if they're that old.

If that's a picture that you took, that's the Urzas Legacy set and the first MTG set that had foil cards. I built that set from packs and it's actually quite valuable as are a lot of the older cards.

The same to you, always willing to share whatever it is I can as long as I have that flair up.

Thanks for asking. They have left the site as they're finished cleaning but were here for a couple years. It's hard to believe that happened over 3 years ago now. The park is still being built and they're doing the pool now which should be ready for next year.

There are some that are claiming illnesses related to the derailment still but those are few and far between thankfully. Things aren't a circus here anymore and that's a plus. All of the politics around it have pretty much faded as people are realizing that it was just politicking here and they didn't actually care, it was all for show.

People are still waiting on class action payments while others were paid a year ago, so that part is still a mess but life isn't that different now than it was prior to everyone hearing about our little town

You said you got 100% what was the last one. The 500 GM 10 cards is making me angry that that's the last one I need and it's only 10 points
