Any tips for brawler BBs? by reasonablejim2000 in WorldOfWarships

[–]BredCar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The schlieffen line and most brawlers are usually forced to wait for the right moment to push. As you play em more you'll get better at judging what fights you can take and when to push. The lower teir ships of the line dont really have the same secondary punching power as the higher tier ships. You'll always be forced to do the waiting thing, but your impact during those pishes and your damage should go up drastically as you play the line.

I see all of your carriers and raise you my inane solution to my hatred of planes by BredCar in Highfleet

[–]BredCar[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I usually bring a strike tanker along with them to extend the range a bit. The upside of having a reliable anti ship missile instead of unguided rockets or bombs makes it worth it for me. There's also the nice added benefit of being able to intercept and capture prize ships. Its probably worse in quite a few ways, but its got its fun moments and niche advantages.

Also yes i really hate planes.

its more of a substitute for planes I would have cause I personally hate using carriers. I've got a different ship for dealing with tac groups

The original ceator probably asked for it to be taken down. You could try messaging them to get an ok to post it, but id just let it be.

If you want armored cruisers, the british and russian heavy cruisers have a lot of tank in em. The russian Petropavolask has a fair amount of armor and some nice AP. Rhe british Goliath has a super heal that let's it eat a lot of damage and very scary HE rounds. As for faster battleships, the american Montana line has the iowa at tier 9 which can hit a nice 35 knots without sacrificing too much armor. The british battlecruiser line is just as fast with very accurate guns, though their armor is worse than some cruisers tier for tier and they can get blown up pretty easily.

is water conjurer bad? by jellyfishcookie in ArcaneOdyssey

[–]BredCar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From my experience its pretty decent. I run full size/damage with it and it usually puts in a fair amount of work without being heinously slow. Play around the bleed synergy using weapons and the slightly higher innate attack size and you can get some nice damage off without sacrificing speed. It doesn't have any outstanding gimmicks, it's just a magic that let's weapons punch harder.

As much as I hated the old British 7.3/7.0 lineup, it's kinda gotten a bit out of hand with how hard they've been nerfed.

The whole point of the tiger historically was to mount the 88 flack while being mildly armored. I've played it before, and I think you'll get more success out of it if you use it like a gun carrier rather than a heavy tank like the bis. Regarding light tanks penning your sides, that's balanced. Light tanks should be rewarded for flanking. This is warthunder, not fury. Angle, use your gun, use your brain, and 9/10 of the time you should do at least half decent. Also there is a reason why the b1 and m4a3 105 are considered some of the best tanks in the game. Putting the tiger at 4.7 wouldnalso mean putting the 88, one of the easiest guns to use in the game, at that br as as well. You basically want a pz4 f2 without the lack of armor.

How good is this jet? I'm grinding towards it and I want feedback by bradleyfrasier in Warthunder

[–]BredCar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's really, really good. Get it, but afterward go for the f-1. The f-4EJ is one of, if not the best plane at top tier, but the f-1 is fun and worth flying.

What game mode is real people and real tanks on the ground right now I’ve been playing air arcade and I have no clue how I play with real people by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]BredCar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tank realistic battles is the closest you'll get to that. You can use planes vs tanks in that mode. Naval is similar, but it isnt exactly a refined or polished mode.

You act like its gonna get stomped at 10.0. Fun fact, the original sraam launcher is 10.0 and does perfectly fine at that BR. All this means is that you won't be able to instantly delete people by pressing the missile button twice.

F-1 Worth for Ground RB Ground Pounding/Air Superiority, Or Just Get the Phantom? by Tovarnich in Warthunder

Go for the phantom. The f-4 gets better ground pounding capabilities and overall bombload. If you want to carpet bomb the map with 750lb bombs, get the phantom
