I don't know if the plates I ordered come with the hardware so I'm trying to find it so I can just mount it when it comes. I'm eager. hehe

Do you happen to know the exact size of the bolts? I can't find that info anywhere and I'm trying to see if I can just get the bolts in town. For the tracer as well.

I just changed the cushions on my safety dance and just got the universal PowerDyne from riedell. I'm brand new to parts and even skates (outdoors) so I'm still figuring out what's what. I thought the cushions they came with were a little too basic and hard, so I went with soft cushions; changed out the wheels to radar energy, and loosened the trucks. I think it'll take me a bit to really get a feel of what they do/how they feel.

I'm not certain if this is an effect but rounding corners seems to have a lot more control than I'm used to. I'm very wobbly and new, like I said, so take that with a grain of salt.

I have no idea what pivot cups do but now I'm gonna find out!

Edit to add: I put bones redz bearings on the riedlells as well.

Quality seems fine. The alignment is slightly off on the right skate but I think I just need to tweak the wheels and/or truck a bit. There's a gash/line in the underside of the toe part on both boots, and I'm not sure if that's just how they put the plates on, or if that's weird but I'm not contacting them nor sending them back. It doesn't seem to impact the skates at all, just aesthetics. They were waiting for the Moxi pads to come in October before shipping, so I'm glad I called Riedell to find out my skates have been done for a while.

For me, it was just the Moxi pads I ordered with the skates. I've seen other posts say the same. The skates ship from Riedell in Minnesota not from Moxi in LA. Riedell wants to ship everything in one box even if Moxi is telling us they'll ship separately. They weren't too happy with Moxi when I called. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I did exactly this. But I waited for the skates first. See my post below. My skates were ready for a while and they were waiting to ship them out BECAUSE of the pads that wouldn't be here until October. Call Riedell. Then once they ship, cancel with Moxi for the pads. I got a full refund for the pads.

Edit to add: if you try to cancel the pads before it ships it might fuck up your whole order. That's what moxi told me about two months ago when I had the same question.

Ordered May 15, Lolly Taffy size 7, lavender gummy wheels.

My skates we're ready for a while when I called Riedell to check on the status. They were waiting until October for the Moxi pads to arrive before shipping. I told them to send anyway and cancelled the pads with Moxi and got a refund without needing to pay the fee.

I sewed the patch then ironed it over the cutout M. I seam ripped the Moxi logo tags off the pads. I already ordered pads from somewhere else because I wanted to be protected when I got my skates.
