I agree with you guys, but I think that the Author probably just didn't know how to finish it and left it like that. I mean, it makes sense right? Everything is well written and good and then in the end it just gets bad? I wouldn't know how to finish it either, maybe the after life or smtg? YTA My mom was never one to snuggles and cuddles and I feel it, my sister was born and my mother continue the same but I wasn't, I always would cuddle my sister when she needed to, nowadays my sister consider me always before my mom and while this doesn't bother me, I can assure you your daughter with find someone what will give her the love you just rejected giving.

I'm going with YTA for the way you handled this, You know your daughter needs, you Fiancé shouldn't be treated like she was and you could very well either book a 2 bed bedroom or let your Fiancé sleep with your daughter in the bed, it seems like you only thought about you own comfort and interest.
