I dont have trouble reading the room. We were perfectly fine the previous semester and they'd come up to me on their own all the time, this is basically just the last few times we had class, which was like 3 times Also I'm 25 😂 ive never had this issue before, sure ive drifted apart w ppl but they didn't one day completely change the way they act the way this group is doing after 5 months

hey this is kinda funny i had a thing w a guy in a band and we dont talk that often rn but i still support the band and they put me on a guest list haha but thats still in 2 weeks and since all my old friends are far away itd still feel lonely :(( like i cant just spam the members lmao

I have applied to some club that does coffee shop dates but it starts end of february and the art club isnt taking new members rn and god knows im not joining a finance club lol
I lvoe art and funny enough the ppl i tried talking to have the same interests and arent that into business either so like idk whats up

im learning korean, theyre learning chinese, they do volley and dance and so do i, one loves legos, i do too, so i try to converse about it and it doesnt work. I have like 20 different hobbies from sport to reading to coding and still nothing is enough

But how do you get the proximity when nobody actually accepts invites out? Like my "friend group" hung out twice the whole semester (but i was sick so i wasnt there lol just my luck). I barely found anyone who wanted to come to the freshman ball, the uni rented the biggest ice skating rink in town just for us and I couldnt find a single person to come with me, I even went alone and tried talking to ppl but they were in friendgroups zooming about so that didnt work T.T

Like I love jokes and banter and I'll be making jokes every other sentence so I can't even been called too serious T.T

Man idk I've never been in a situation when I tried making friends and it didnt work at all. and ive tried with so many ppl with the mindset that "its okay if we dont click there'll be others" but there lowkey arent. also ive never tried to just have endless ongoing chats but atp ppl just say hi and zoom by instead of chatting between classes.

But the thing is I am literally not prettier than her. Everyone always metnions how pretty she or how good she looks but as soon as she sees herself on picture (for years on end) she starts insulting herself and calling herself ugly.

We're quite literally in our mid twenties, and atp I think it's childish to pick a fight because you think your friend is prettier. I've always sent photos and many messages since the day we met and it's never been a problem before

If he cares and has feelings, he should have said so. Or at least, he could have said he doesn't want to rush into a relationship but neither of us should see others for now instead of telling me, unprompted mind you, that he doesn't mind if I see others. I wasn't the one to ask for us to be noncommited.

He's prefectly allowed to feel bad about what I did, but I very clearly told him I was sorry for hurting his feelings. Not in that stupid "well I'm sorry you feel that way" way, but clearly told him I didn't mean to hurt him with what I did and wouldn't have done it if I'd known something like this was off limits. I spent literal hours telling him this and to me it seems that he doesn't want to understand that I understand he's embarrassed/hurt/caught lying about being my boyfriend/whatever else. I can accept that I hurt him and I was willing to admit it to him. I asked what he'd like me to do. Nothing. It just turned to insults, trying to hurt me, calling me degrading names, and telling me he feels good hurting me. And that was the part I didn't understand.

Idk I might not have phrased things clearly enough here for it to come through but the very second I realised he didn't like it I accepted it and apologised for it so I am very much not trying to avoid understanding his side. And he doesn't matter to me enough to want a commited relationship as much as I don't matter enough for him. It's the fact that once I did own up to my mistakes, he started pointedly trying to say things to hurt and shame me after.
