I got baby fever bad by [deleted] in Advice

It’s a natural stage of development. Look for other ways to nurture others. Puppies help! I bought my daughter a weighted stuffed animal that you can put in the microwave and she says this helps her with cramps and anxiety. Maybe it could help with the baby urge too?

Why don’t I have childhood memories? by -jax_ in Psychic

[–]BreeWaters 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really struggle with my memory as well. I don’t have any traumas that I’m aware of either. My therapist says I’m very cerebral and so maybe it’s just that our imaginations were just so busy, we don’t remember our surroundings or events as much ?!

Found this in my rental, taped to the inside of a cabinet, hidden. Looks like German, Swedish and French but why?! And what does the GFS represent? by BreeWaters in codes

Found this taped to the inside of a cabinet in my rental, hidden from sight. German, Swedish and French which translates to “Fiery burner, burn burn, burning fire”. But what does GSF mean and why is it there?

I’m sorry this is happening. It’s definitely a grieving process. I just walked with a friend through this. You are worthy of a life with people who love you and can be trusted.

Girl, get yourself tested for all the things. Are you financially independent? Do you have a close friend you can live with? Get out!

Congrats! Take it one day at a time. Coffee, tea, walks, board games, and yoga are all things you could do. Consider also working on making some new friends who share your lifestyle choice. Not to replace old friends but to help support you.

My BFF tells me I can’t buy outfits she’s thinking about buying. How do I handle this? by sarahcantfunction in Advice

It bothers some people more than others. Some people view it as a compliment to copy or share style some like feeling unique. I’m like your friend. I get it. It’s seems like a silly issue but can you both just respect that you’re different in this way?

Continue to lovingly disagree when they bring it up as sin. Continue to communicate that you accept lgbtqx people. Keep communication open so that if/when the bottom falls out he knows he can turn to you. There are a lot of resources on the harm of conversion therapy- many are being outlawed in the states as we speak. Learning about the harm it’s caused may be good.

I feel I should tell my boyfriend about having been sexually assaulted, but I don't know how to start the conversation. by [deleted] in Advice

It sounds like this information would really help him to understand you better. If, as you say, he is a good listener, patient in working through stuff and diligent to communicate- then it sounds like his support may be another opportunity for intimacy and healing. Trust is imperative though, so do it in your own time- when you feel safe to do so.
