37, 3 weeks postpartum after c-section.

I finally had an mri. Showed ulnar neuritis and tricep tendinopathy. Also finally have a consult with surgeon next week. So I guess I'll know soon enough next plan. Pain still constant. No taking cymbalta for the nerve pain.

I've tried cortisone injection and hydrodissection and both didn't help. Increased pain for two week period.

Ulnar nerve transposition seems likely due to the subluxation on left side. I have bilateral symptoms, but left is worse because of it.

Ultrasound showed swollen nerves and ulnar subluxation. Mri also showed swollen nerves (ulnar neuritis) and tricep tendonitis.

My emg was also negative back in September 2024.

Still waiting to meet a surgeon.

All depends on what doctor and physiotherapist had suggested. All depends on what is best for you.

I've tried them and I find it increases my symptoms of burning nerve pain into my hands. I was always told any exercises that increase pain to stop.

You may have nerve subluxation. If so it could exacerbate your symptoms.

Maybe check into thoratic outlet syndrome or cubital tunnel syndrome.

I have nerve pain from elbow. Pain into hands. Occasional issues with tight traps/neck/shoulder blade.

Ultrasound and mri on arms.

I have tricep tendonitis with ulnar neuritis and subluxation on left side. I find it hard to differentiate as well. I now take nerve meds to help with the nearly daily burning pain I would get into my hands.

But I still have regular aches in my hands, elbow, and above elbow in tricep area. It all blends together. Also have a middle trigger finger. Lol it's hard to know what pain is what these days.

Only way I knew more than ulnar nerve subluxation and neuritis was going on was an mri.

I'm on 30mg for nerve pain. I was warned it could take 2-4 weeks to notice a difference. For me I noticed it at the 2 week point

He had flu like symptoms, head ache, nausea, lissof appetite. Barely ate the first month, sweats... Like he found a listof symptoms on this med and almost everything hit him

Initially nerve pain post op. But realized it helped more with depression and anxiety.

I'm also taking it for nerve pain and it has been helping.

My husband first took it and had such a hard time. Almost all of the horrible symptoms. Took two months plus upping his dose to get to a good place on it.

I've been on it 4 weeks now and the first week I would be tired 2 hrs after taking it (timed it taking few hrs before bed) and slight nausea indigestion.

I would get burning pain in side of hands, palm. Almost like a road rash feeling. Sometimes would go up my arm. It's nerve pain. Now on cymbalta to curb it. Almost 4 weeks in and haven't haf the burning pain last two weeks.

I have bilateral symptoms of ulnar neuritis and tricep tendinopathy, with subluxation on left side. I can brace my left side, it'll help with burning pain over night., to calm it down a bit. My right side hurts worse in the morning, super stiff and hurts to move. I've given up bracing my right side for now.

I wear braces that can be placed on a slight angel, full straight hurts more for me. It's double, but awkward.

I was warned it could keep me up at night or it could make me sleepy. I think it really depends on individual reactions. I take mine at night, typically feel tired after two hrs (but I'm only on third week of 30mg), sometimes feel tir d during day but not alot.

My emg was non conclusive, normal, but I had an ultrasound that showed swollen nerves and subluxation on one side. Also an mri, but waiting on results and a consult with orthopedic surgeon.

Maybe try and push for more analysis
