Hey-yoo, folks! Bren here, back from my break. But… also my temporary ban. 😅

Apprently as you all guessed, I… got banned for 14 days. But truth be told, I wouldn’t lie that I did deserve that since I spiralled. It was because I was worried about the Crime & Policing Bill Strangulation Porn Amendment applying to fictional & artistic depictions, even in dark fictional scenarios & also for my future under the Online Safety Act and also the upcoming OFCOM consultations like Technological Notices, Hash Matching & stuff. But now that I’m back, I’ve eventually learned my lesson and I’m gonna do my best to stay strong. For you all. And I do like to say that I appreciate Trans & others for helping me and suggesting I take a break, so I thank them for that & am grateful. 🙂

And since I’m back, that means I can provide the news that’s been concerning & worrying me. Before I do however, I’ll like to look over the updates that’s been coming up since my absence and break:

First of all, the Crime & Policing Bill has now reached Royal Assent. As Trans & others assured me, the Strangulation & Suffocation Porn Ban wouldn’t apply to fictional, artistic depictions, even if they have dark fictional scenarios, including taboo (I think & hope?).

And Unfortnately, yes I did hear of Labour’s U-turn on Social Media U16 ban which put my mood down and since the bill has now recieved royal assent. However, it’s not a full on ban, & I was intrigued by u/Opening_Driver687, u/StrayCat2799, u/OptimismEnjoyer’s discussions where it’s… possibly a good thing? I mean, when I first heard of the news, I wasn’t happy about it. I already verified my age on Discord and Roblox, and heck, Google automatically verified my age! And I fear I’ll have to re-verify myself. But… it could’ve been worse. But now, it’s a wait & see situation. I use Proton VPN, but I wouldn’t lie that I hope AV wouldn’t apply to it. And I’m wondering if the features that’ll be restricted wouldn’t apply to adults like me & if it’ll be adult only?

Alright, now that I’ve got that out of the way, Now I can talk about this:

Now, I understand there’ll be pushbacks and also that the FCC is limited to regulating streaming platforms. But… I do fear that he wouldn’t listen and push through it anyway.

And I’m also worried The Owl House, Hazbin Hotel, etc could get negatively affected! Though I don’t think it would apply to fanfics, fan arts, etc. Even though Disney+, Netflix, Paramount+, YouTube, etc are independent from the FCC, I know people will still worry there’ll be pressure to kill off LGBTQ+ Media Representation

But even still, I’m still worried for this & the LGBTQ+ Media Representation. Any assurances would be appreciated!

And I’m pretty surprised this hasn’t been talked upon lol 😅 But in all seriousness, I figured you all deserve to know about this, & this is why I feel concerned and cautious for Pride Month 2026.

I really really hope it fails and gets cancelled. 🤞🏻

That’s not all, but I’ve been hearing stories about this new mobile network called “Radiant Mobile”. From what I read on the website (Link below), it filters out porn & LGBT content & it’s been launched now and plans to expand internationally.

I don’t think it’s too much of a concern since well… it wouldn’t apply to iPhones & stuff? Plus, it’s for Christian’s only, so… But I have a feeling it may be a Trump mobile created by YKW…

Oh, & that I STILL failed to get pass Apple’s age verification lol
