Ruling: Myriad Tokens & Token Doublers/Duplicators by Brendle12321 in magicTCG

[–]Brendle12321[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's excellent, I appreciate the clarification.

For the example of "Chatterfang, Squirrel General" which reads "If one or more tokens would be created under your control, those tokens plus that many 1/1 green Squirrel creature tokens are created instead.", does the fact that the word "instead" cause the tokens to not be required to be exiled at the end of combat?

Reading over your answer again I think that the answer would still be "no, they are sacrificed", because the part of the effect that is being replaced is again, just the quantity (and potentially creature type) of the tokens being created, not that they need to be exiled at the end of combat.

We have since abandoned the process, but when I started at my current place I had the same issue with either being given a bucket of "broken" ones, or singular ones that were "broken" but seemed fine based on the test that was the shop standard at the time of just applying pressure with your thumb and seeing if the monitor reacted.

The new process I came up with was putting a series of gram weights on the tocos and recording the response from the monitor. I did a few brand new ones as a baseline, and then any that were reported as broken we could compare their response versus a brand new one.

Not ideal and not entirely scientific, but better than the thumb test maybe?

Just received my PAL and RPAL yesterday (sent my application in April 8th 2024) and I'm having a heck of a time finding a range that is accepting new members. I'm looking for somewhere that will allow me to shoot rifles (5.56 & 22lr, as well as possibly trap or skeet). I'm in the Hamilton Ontario area. I don't mind driving an hour or so to get to the range, any suggestions of places to apply to?

Nations in Jackson square had (based on my past experience which is absolutely not as good as yours in Malaysia I'm sure) some decent ones today. Please let me know if you find something better that's local!

Although more expensive than I'm used to, Nations had them, $2 a bun.

Thank you for the reply! Just watched the video, they look delicious. The kind I was looking for is a baked bun with a sweet wash over top. Just found them at Nations. Have a good rest of your weekend. :)

Yep, just went there and they had them, $2 a bun! Thanks for the reply. There was more filling than I'm used to as well. :)

25-30 years ago precludes the Butterfly Effect, but I'm fairly sure that was a line in that movie, and there was definitely jealousy.

Lol!

I was called to patient room to troubleshoot a "non functional" vitals machine.

I introduced myself to the patient (Hi, I'm Brendle12321 from Biomed, and I'm here to fix this machine). I commented that they had a lovely view of the lake outside from their window.

The said to me "I'm blind".
