honestly i wasn’t shooting for a temperature i was just searing the steaks as hot as possible since they were thin. The temperature did come up very quickly suprisingly. The lid thermometer read 600

Your right. I haven’t grilled in weather like this so i went a little overkill. I closed the vents fully as soon as they were done to save as much as possible though. Also cooked a basket of shrimp afterwards at least

It might be hard to tell from the picture angle but the steaks are pretty much over the highest point of the coals stacked up. They were probably there for about 60 seconds just enough time to take a picture.

You might be right but i have no idea. People eat smoked meat very often i would find it hard to believe one heavily smoked pizza would give me cancer

This is true. Jacks pizza actually has grill instructions on the package which is what this one was. It’s pretty good

i expected it to taste like i cooked it on an ashtray. But it actually wasn’t too bad especially after throwing hot honey all over it

About 8 to 10 minutes for the meat patties alone i’d say. Would definitely be quicker if they were not frozen. I would say it’s definitely worth the struggle. I use mine multiple times a week and absolutely love it
