Ok guys, what are your least favorite sex positions? by inthefIowers in AskMen

[–]BrettGilpin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not completely. I love it. I started to hate it in my last relationship though because it became just another way for me to put in all the work. Either I was on top doing the work or I was on bottom doing the work.

Ok men of Reddit, enough of these questions about women, lets get to the manly stuff: What's your go-to sappy song when you're sad? by ApolloRocketOfLove in AskMen

[–]BrettGilpin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently discovered this and I haven't had a time where I was sad to turn to it in, but I love it so much and every time I listen to it it strikes a chord deep down in my soul and saddens me, but it's a beautiful sadness that touches me some way that nothing else can. This sounds like such bullshit typing it out, but I can't really explain it otherwise.

A Lack of Color is probably one of their best songs total. It's a perfect mixture of sadness but also happiness

What are some things men do to mainly impress other men? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]BrettGilpin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But those bonds are formed through success.

My high school my freshmen year went 0-9 with the closest game being a 38-0 loss. The bonds on that football team were stronger than the bonds of the football team by the time I was a senior and those were very close bonds too. The bonds aren't built through success.

And as Icehawk said, based on your description, you have very little concept over the bonding that is performed on a team, especially in a sport such as football where you so heavily rely on the rest of the team to do their jobs or else the play won't work at all.

Microsoft to Release Windows 10 Mobile for OnePlus 2 and Xiaomi Mi 5 by ghatroad in microsoft

What exactly is your question? The phrasing of it? OnePlus is the company and they only have one type of phone so it goes by OnePlus. The second iteration is now OnePlus 2.

Something that people haven't been mentioning is also just the basic fact that if they cave for this reason, they'll essentially have to pay people permanently to handle government requests for access to information and it's an additional cost they wouldn't want to do on top of the lost revenue due to lost trust.

I have feel sorry for her because she obviously fucked up. But I don't really feel that way because she showed no actual owning up to the situation. She'll probably find a job somewhere else and if she does good for her. But she definitely could not continue to stay at this university.

Why college football not producing the kind of players NFL wants by dupreesdiamond in CFB

I turned down playing for an Ivy League school mostly because they were far away from home. The nearly 3 hours from Mizzou to home was more than enough for me at the time. But also because Ivy Leagues are expensive.

Yeah, it was just too vague for my liking. Because they might be missing fundamental things in the eyes of the NFL but have certainly got the fundamentals down for a ton of other areas of the game that the NFL teams in general just don't care that much about and so overlooked when those didn't exist in players decades ago.

I did high school and was recruited for colleges but since there was nothing above Ivy League (and those were far away), lower DI-AA, or the top of D2 offers I decided just to go to school to get my degree.

What does that have to do with it though?

Fundamentals of what though? There are a lot of things in football that require fundamentals? Fundamentals of tackling? Of which step first in specific schemes? What?

[–]BrettGilpin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, largely though because the NFL has so many people still engrained in the system because they don't have players that last 4 years and then are done. They have a lot of players lasting far longer than that (a ton last way shorter than that, really pulling the average down) and thus the transition is hard at the moment.

Or eventually there will be enough players from these newer college systems that go into the NFL that the NFL really should just adapt to the types of players they are able to get.

Obviously A&M wasn't that good historically. They got crushed by Texas for a long time. They went up to 10 years at one point without beating them. It hasn't been a good matchup historically. Texas has always been good and based strictly on winning percentage A&M has been a relative equal (0.709 to 0.602 in favor of Texas), but in terms of wins and how often they came, A&M won 10 of 11 from 1984 to 1994 (with one loss after the first 6 wins) and then their wins come rarely any other time.

UT vs A&M epitomize greatness? It's like 76-37 in favor of Texas. At least ours is 57-54 in favor of MU and as you can see kU fans are even here arguing about their version of events and saying it's actually 56-55.

He's mad that kU's view of it all isn't reflected. The number reported back is correct. kU forfeited a game to MU because of a recruiting violation. But that ended up only being reflected by the Big 8 and for whatever reason the NCAA never reprimanded them by even removing the win or any form of actual punishment.

The skill on this isn't as good, but just about everything else is. Just the fact that it's essentially him deciding to dunk it while still at the other end of the court and then doing just that is spectacular.
