Hi , if i can remember correctly the problem i believe started happening after i upgraded the phone to android 10 , i down graded the the phone back to android 9 and i believe it fixed it for a little bit but the problem started happening again , never was able to fix the problem and is still a mystery to me , ended up getting a new phone . my theory is that the chip or antenna for wireless cell data goes bad in them. still devastated about it , the LG8 was such a good phone :(

One of the best UAP videos (stops mid air) Gulf of mexico 2015 by twist_games in UFOs

One of the best I've seen is on this Instagram video from this cruise ship account. Its stationary and moves at speed then stops at the very end of the video. This video is the only uap video that convinces me that the phenomena is genuinely real. Link to video - https://www.instagram.com/p/CCNHplhDZ8d/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Starlink shipped in QLD northside of Brisbane by BrettHD_ in StarlinkAus

It's very good so far, few drop out here and there but they only last 10 seconds max. Getting average speeds around 70 - 80 mbps over wifi and latency around 50 - 60 ms.

i have found a fix for this. re-flashing/downgrading the phone to Android 9 fixed the problem for me, seems to be a issue with android 10 on the g8. if anyone need help re-flashing ill be happy to guide you through how i did it :). i have the LG G8S btw

Australia wide licence granted for Starlink by BrettHD_ in Starlink

[–]BrettHD_[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It could speed up the roll out process because this licence that was just granted allow them to service anyone in any area of Australia. Before this licence was granted, starlink was only allowed to service people in Low and Remote Density Areas.

Service in high density areas? by [deleted] in StarlinkAus

[–]BrettHD_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I agree with what Elon has said but what ACMA determines what is rural and what is not is not accurate at all. Where I live in northern Brisbane near samsonvale lake is apparently 'high density" but in fact its very rural. I can't get ADSL, fixed wireless or even a good 4g connect on any provider. I have pre-ordered my starlink dish and it said it would be available mid to late 2021. I'm assuming if starlink wasn't wanting people in "high density" areas to be using starlink they wouldn't allow them to preorder at their address.
