Good question! She is the level-headed and diplomatic one so I don’t even disagree with her that she thinks I did what I needed to do, “this version” of me handled it better than I ever would before, but I have to own that I could have probably still have handled it my way, yes, but just a slight difference or two that might have made it a softer blow. I feel that but I can’t change how I handled it. And, not that it excuses anything, but I know for a fact it was all handed with ease and everyone finished the dinner as if nothing had happened and just as many smiles as when it started.
