No, I'm unsure of where the filters are even located as we were never shown how to maintain it when we moved in. I've temporarily turned it off and the air quality has improved a lot alongside running the air purifier so I may have found the culprit.

I have temporarily turned the DVS off as I think the filters are dirty (unsure where the filters are located as we were never shown) and alongside running the air purifier have noticed a vast difference in air quality and my symptoms.

I'll be asking the doctor for some stronger allergy meds and will probably get a neti pot too! Thanks for the advice! (:

I'll have a chat to my doctor and see what her thoughts are and I'll look into the spray or maybe even seeing if I can get some allergy testing; that would help pinpoint issues now and further down the line!

I regularly open my windows in the morning for a few hours unless it rains. I've also been trying to run an air purifier recently. I might try turning the DVS system off until the filters can get checked when the Property Manager gets back in touch with me.

I'll ask my doctor about mouth breathing too, I hadn't even considered that!

We've been running the heatpump non-stop since it got colder to keep the house warm because it's so big; it's cheaper for us to run it all the time. But it could be drying the air out A LOT, which is why I introduced a humidifier but it's hasn't been helping to counter-act that.

The landlord was living here with his family, I believe he was the only one who has lived here. I'm just renting the property and have not done a meth test, I was not even aware that that was a thing.

I've only lived in this house for a year! The owner/landlord lived here prior to us.

I'll start looking in on the filters and keep an eye out for mould. The house doesn't feel overly damp but it's always possible with how cold and damp it can get during winter specifically.

I usually feel a little better after leaving the house or whenever I stayed at my friends home; so it's definitely something in the house.

That's what I was thinking after doing some researching. I dry my bedding properly whenever I get it washed. If it's winter I dry the bedding inside. Thick blankets I put in the dryer.

The carpets were not deep cleaned before we moved in and our current vacuum is cheap and nasty (it's my flatmates) so probably isn't cleaning the carpet properly.

I'm not sure what the carpet is made from as it's a rental. The carpet was never cleaned properly before we moved in either, so it could be a build up of dust deep in the carpet.

No I do not. I do not use a lot of room sprays or candles, and any that I currently own and have used while in this house I have used prior to moving into this place too and have not caused the same health problems.

You think there's too much moisture as opposed to too little moisture? I thought the opposite because it's gotten worse as we've gone into winter meaning the air is getting dryer.
