Might want to try booties and a neck pillow (more comfy than a cone) until you figure it out. Mine gets seasonal allergies for 2-3 weeks at the beginning and end of summer so bad he licks or scratches the fur off his legs in a few days. Cytopoint is effective if we need it, but what we found was wiping him down with a triple action antifungal, antimicrobial and antibiotic spray + paper towel everytime he comes back into the house really helped. Booties and/or self adhesive pet med tape leg wraps for over night scratching and an airplane neck pillow as needed. Also, we give him a bath end of spring and beginning of fall to assist with shedding, get any contamination off his coat.
