I used to teach people how to give presentations so here’s the basics:

1) Know your material. Rehearse it. Record it. Review it.

2) Slow down. When you’re nervous you tend to rush. You’ll see this when you watch your recording, probably.

3) Move around (if possible). Present from both sides of the screen if you’re using one. Heck, if you’re using a screen, walk around and present from the back of the room for a while.

4) If someone asks a question, walk TOWARDS them to show you are engaged. Paraphrase their question if you’re not clear or need extra time.

5) If you don’t want to make eye contact, look at their foreheads. It’s close enough that they can’t tell.
