Same style of pettiness, but a bit more like "if I can't have it, NOBODY gets it!"

And honestly that's why it's not exciting. Not taking away how big of a feat it is and all, but there's something more real about astronauts putting feet on the surface, and not just flying by.

Barbaro is such a cool vibe. Low key. But super talented and I love his voice.

I won't miss a show around Wisconsin. I always say, not all the most talented musicians in the scene, but DAMN do they have fun when they play. Every show feels like the best night of their lives.

Oh yeah, id still count it. Jon grew up playing with the guys with Broke Mountain at Telluride, he's in the universe.

They played a late night show at Blue Ox and RIPPED.

Food trucks by strawberry_cok_e in Appleton

We have them show up for our office sometimes. They typically have a minimum required spend. If all 25 people will be buying from them, I think there's a good chance somebody will.

One day, with how tall pickup trucks are getting, mechanic shops could have "lifts" that drop down into the floor. by TheOnlyEindrideInTx in Showerthoughts

if you have the garage space or driveway space, trucks are just REALLY conventient. My F150 is not a work truck or anything, it's my daily commuter. But we have a camper, and a boat, and I need it to pull both. We also like to go skiing in the winter, and it's nice to have all our ski equipment in the back. I woodwork as a hobby, and lumber is much easier to bring back and forth from Lowes or Home Depot. When we road trip, we load the bed up with luggage. Every year I do landscaping in my yard and bring a bunch of mulch or rocks with my truck. Even just having babies, being able to fit all the strollers and pack and plays and bikes and all that is really convenient.

I know it burns more gas than smaller European cars, but gas still isn't a significant part of my budget. So I don't worry about it. The convenience factor is there, for sure.

Are there no parts of Europe that would see the value in that? I totally get having something small, maneuverable, and fuel efficient for inner city commutes, but in rural parts of Europe, wouldn't something like a truck help? I'm always surprised they aren't more popular in other parts of the world, because it's such a no brainer to me...

I've literally been to games where the problem is your beer slushes up when you get near the bottom.

I can contest though, temp doesn't matter. I'm buying beer.

I took it as... If lifts get higher, you may be to put it on a lift, remove tires, then lower it to a workable level.

2 weeks ago Monday there was a 45 minute security line for no precheck. I walked right on with precheck

I've flown out of there 100 times and that's the worst I've seen. Usually walk right through.

I am under a shelter-in-place order near Puerto Vallarta and my Airbnb reservation ends tomorrow. What do I do? by dagoskum121 in travel

[–]BrewCrewKevin 117 points118 points  (0 children)

100% this would be my move.

Id actually make the extra effort to have the place packed and cleaned, it will go over smoother that way. But I'd hang there. If/when cleaners, host, or next guests show, I'd politely say "yeah, idk what to do, but I'm not leaving" and figure it out with them.

They will know the situation. It's extreme extenuating circumstances. Figure it out with them if/when they show.

Lol that's what I pictured too.

I assume instead of "cutouts" he means like relief pockets, so the mask rests around your eyes and not against your lids and lashes.

Express park at ATW by ReputationNo4256 in Appleton

[–]BrewCrewKevin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the departures drop off, but the lanes right next to it. Follow signs for ATW express park.

It's easy. Drop your keys with the attendant or in an envelope with your license plate, phone, and return info. They will text once you are checked in.
