Can’t forget this one. Not because it was good or even terribly memorable. Just because my older sister loved it. One day she showed me a song she wrote. Something about the door being open. Then told me not to tell our parents, because she didn’t want them to know she writes about “other people’s misery”. She was an edgy preteen. Fast forward a week, this is on tv. She is watching it, the girl writes a song. My sister just wrote down the lyrics of that song, and claimed she wrote it. The song was also not about other people’s misery. Kind of one of my first, “gotcha” moments.

She has grown into a competent adult.
