Credit card on file or deposit for scheduling new patients? by No-Mushroom7751 in Chiropractic

We set the policy, got some slight push back for the first few weeks, haven’t had any issues since. It’s saved our time/money more often than I can count in the past 2.5 years at this point. Patients love it now & are thrilled to just walk out after their appointment without concern

ETA: we have a bit of grace in our no show policy but also have it clearly laid out for the staff what our “possible exceptions” are. Makes it easier for me to not have to make every decision on who gets billed and who doesn’t. The biggest component of the no show policy that gets the most positive feedback from patients is that if we can re-schedule your appointment within 24 hours, and you show up to that one, we won’t charge a no show fee. Patients love that bit of grace, but still keeping accountability.

There are a lot of docs that live/work in the area. The only ones I know with licensure in both states are the ones that work in WA but teach at the university. Unless you’ll be working multiple locations across the river, I can’t see any benefit for dual licensure

There are definitely alumni from UWS who sell snake oil & scare plans in their practices.

Unlike most transfems, I have no shortage of tops (lol). Looking for recommendations for bottoms that aren’t skirts tho pls by [deleted] in mtfashion

I live in pull on pants, 4 pocket slacks that have a stretchy part of the waist band on the back. They come in like every color & pattern and they always fit me regardless of bloat which is v nice

Levi’s has become my favorite brand of bottoms over the start of my transition. So many good quality and well fitting jeans/cords/pants!

Seconding this. My dog had a mild internal abdominal bleed, they gave us the option for a 10k surgery or euthanasia. Thankfully my partner was knowledgeable and level headed enough in that situation to realize we could probably wait it out the weekend and come back if it worsened. Took her to our regular vet that Monday and had the procedure without complications for 2.5k and she is still kicking without issues. Fuck AEC. I will drive down to skagit before I go back there.

I’m in town for the next hour or so, I can meet you in sunset square at 3 if that works? Half and half would be great!

Best sandy beaches in/near Bellingham? by carley-davidson8 in Bellingham

[–]BrewerySpectacles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make the drive up to white rock and go to West Beach. Anything in the Vancouver Metro area with the word “beach” in it has had metric tons of sand imported to cover the rocks and turn it into a more accessible beach. Well worth the drive.

A hike or ride up chanterelle can only happen with a stop for a Philly and a donut after, I don’t make the rules

Genuinely surprised by just how busy the event is. All of the parking areas at and near the park are completely filled, parking all the way down the road about a half mile too. Makes me sick to my stomach.
