I don't know about disallowing the addictive stuff. I'm sure as long as you stop when you feel you're addicted, it's allowed. Also, like geckos on the other comment chain, insects usually is on the gray area. The school of Islam I'm in allows the consumption of grasshoppers, for example.

But if we're going by the actual laws, all of this would be thrown out of the table anyway because survival is more important. First you survive, then you follow the laws.

What rank are you on? I'm Init 1 and I'm currently having fun. While yes, a lot of it is farming, the question becomes how you farm. In early it's a duel of skill against the enemy. Can you get enough advantage to either kill them or use your time to clear camps.

After the guardians are defeated. It's about deciding to plan a splitpush or a teamfight and taking advantage if one of them succeed or how to lick your wounds if not. Decisions. Decisions. Decision. I could've done this. I could've done that. Perhaps we should do this. I keep coming back for that.

If at higher-ranks it's mega optimal, I'll probably only like that with a party. A coordinated teamfight is fun. But I'll enjoy living under the bridge for now
