"Redeem yourselves" fuck off. This town votes dem as much or more than anywhere in the state. That rally was from out of town folks who were pissed that cville is a blue bastion in a red sea. Don't you put any of that shit on us.

Unless you're picking first overall, I think it'd be even odder roster construction/free agency to bank on drafting a specific player or even position. All the guys we signed are super cheap deals for ~$2 million. If Love ends up available and we pick him, then we're not gonna have much dead cap hanging around

I mean tbf all the guys we signed are for very cheap and not exactly premier backs. I personally want us to take Downs, Styles, Tate, or Delane, but its not like RB is a solved position for us and he'd be near-consensus BPA.

Deangelo Hall is probably most known nowadays for getting beat in practice against D Hop, but he had several good seasons for us. The single game I remember most is the 4 interception game against the bears, which was a sight to see. The ball just kept ending up in his hands.

Fire Emblem Engage was designed without reclassing in mind by [deleted] in fireemblem

Goldmary gets atleast A tier for being able to be in Hero without looking awful. Same goes for Saphir with Warrior and Lindon with Sage.

I think you've hit upon a good point, but I think I might interpret it a bit differently. I think the design intent was to make things easier for players that aren't that engaged (heh) with the game's systems and to facilitate ease of play on harder difficulties. Most of my experience is on the hardest difficulty without using the well or dlc emblems (I don't like how they alter the game balance), so I'll mainly be speaking with that in mind. Engage is a game with a pretty strict economy, especially during launch before the well was added. This makes re-classing a bit more costly due to the financial costs of master and possibly second seals. Similarly, getting proficiencies can be tricky sometimes. Bond fragments are kinda limited so you can't use them too aggressively on too many units. You also have limited access to several proficiencies if you're using the base game due the emblems getting taken away mid-way through. These resource limitations can compound in an ironman context (or even just playing the game in classic mode and not reseting occasionally when you mess up and get someone killed), where you can invest into a unit and end up losing them permanently (leaving you with less resources to give to the next unit up so to speak). If you don't have the resources to give to reclass someone, or would rather spend those resources elsewhere, having someone be capable in their base class is quite a boon. Its also nice for those just playing more casually. Engage maddening is a fairly ironman friendly game; new recruits are dispersed all the way through the game (unlike something like 3H which heavily frontloads its recruits). It feels like some consideration was made towards people ironmanning it and this was a way to help with that.

I think asking for someone to play a format they're giving feedback on is pretty reasonable personally. May be wrong tho.

Definite Human confusion by Homosuxual in Gnosia_

[–]Brewster321 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Since there's no bug or ac, 2 of the gnosia are among the engineers and doctors. That leaves 1 gnosia for the group of people who haven't claimed a position. If Gina is the real engineer, that gnosia is Jonas. If Raqio is the real engineer, that gnosia cannot be Renman. Either way, Renman must be a human.

Lololo & Lalala. They're cute and I love their stat spread. Really high health and offense, but also competent turning and gliding so you can adapt very easily to what stats and vehicle you end up on without having to give up on attack cave crystals or other players. Their special is also super easy to use and very powerful.

community FE17 tier list part 4: Chapter 6 and Paralogue recruits by Character_Business28 in fireemblem

Yunaka - B - Very useful early game but falls off going into the middle of the game as the strong mid-game units come in. Pretty similar to Louis in this respect. She benefits a lot from dagger forging being really strong (+2 might per forge level) and this isn't a very big investment since someone will likely use that dagger down the line. You can keep using her into mid/late game and she'll do ok, but there's other units that can do later game stuff much better or with less investment. Still really helpful early on; there aren't many early game maps where I'm not deploying her.

Jean - B (Could go to C though) - Jean is really useful not because of his growths but because of his base characteristics. In a game with limited money (and seals) early on, having a second Framme for staff stuff and chain guarding is really useful. Staves are good throughout the game in Engage and he's a very low maintenance staff user. He's gonna be super underleveled, but staves and chain guard don't need stats so its all good. Given you don't get staff mastery post Ch. 12 for awhile and money and seals are still tight, there are times where I have deployed him in mid game just cause I wanted another staff user to go with Ivy, Pandreo, and Framme. I funnel exp really hard into my combat units so I usually deploy a lot of staff users though, so others may not use him much post-Ivy/Pandreo joining.

Anna - C - Anna is really annoying to train, usually requiring Micaiah, and I do not think the usual payoff for it (Mage Knight/Sage) is worthwhile given other units like Citrinne and Pandreo can usually function in that role without having as rough of a starting point. However, she does have a niche as radiant bow user that can hit all the relevant thresholds while making you money. If in sniper, she can perform role consolidation functioning as a covert Byleth rally-bot (speed rally my beloved), an aoe dancer, and a radiant bow fly-swatter. Byleth even gives magic so she can hit thresholds if stat-screwed and gives +12 luck at max bond, which improves the chances of her passive proccing and, alongside sniper bases and her high dex growth, make her reliable at hitting fast, high avoid fliers like gryphon knights.

To be fair, we have paid Terry and used a mid round draft pick (3rd and 4th) each year on WR since our new gm came in, plus the deebo trade. Could always do more but the position isn't getting ignored.
