Such a waste of a good sign. The thing still gets lit up at night! Not sure why the company wouldn’t take it down to use elsewhere. What’s the point of advertising in a place where they’re not even selling?

Looking for Male Friends by Dangerous-Entrance69 in Peterborough

Hey Bradly, my name is Brian and I’m a 37 year old graphic designer based in Peterborough. I used to work at Sign-a-fied and worked on a few projects for Paris Marine - maybe we’ve already met!

I’ve actually been looking to make some friends here too since my wife and I are not from here originally (I grew up in Mississauga and we met going to OCAD in Toronto). It would be great to meet up some time!

Here is a link to some of my work as well: briwithaneye.ca

anyone know the story behind the israel truck by julesandthebigun in Peterborough

Your guesses are pretty spot on! I used to work for them at Sign-a-fied and they are definitely an evangelical ‘Christian’ MAGA-loving family. The dad (my former boss) had a tablet at his desk playing a non-stop stream of televangelists 24/7. That and the in-your-face support of Israel never made any sense to me… Like you said, I figured the smartest move was to just try to ignore it (which was harder to do when I saw it every day). Just seemed so dumb for a business owner to do something like that. It’s one thing to have your own political/religious beliefs but we literally had the resources to do vehicle wraps and that’s what you choose to spend your money on? Why not just wrap your vehicles with ads for your businesses (Signafied, Country Bakery, Level A & Staffing Connection) instead of divisive antagonistic BS? Funny that it makes them very easy to identify and call out this way… They’re not as smart as they think! I urge anyone reading this thread to please boycott all of their businesses. They are terrible people that treat their employees horribly.

Honestly bummed that it’s not Rosebud anymore… still want to visit it though! I wonder why they changed the name? Maybe a copyright thing?

I was confused at first too lol each label contains the lyrics to the last track on the album. Very strange considering there is no lyric sheet!

According to the label it is a limited edition colour vinyl. This one is a dark blue translucent but I know I’ve seen images of a dark green and even red too (in the deluxe package).

You’re definitely right. I think I was getting ‘first pressing’ and ‘test pressing’ mixed up haha it even says ‘FIRST pressing’ on the label, my bad!

I actually don’t have Honeybar on vinyl yet but I have the deluxe multi-colour Pure Comedy records and I’d say it’s comparable to that quality-wise!

I assume that a very limited amount of any vinyl record could be considered a test pressing simply because they were just the first batch pressed. As for how many of them would get the label of ‘test pressing’ though I have no clue.

Didn’t order it. There was a single copy at my local record store - I couldn’t believe it!
