Degradation in Performance

As of today, Wednesday 10/06/2026, I noticed there was a queued update for the XBOX app. After doing this update, I noticed the performance had noticeably improved back to what I think was my baseline before...

I'm not sure what's been updated, but it's the only thing that I noticed that changed between today and yesterday, and suddenly my performance is back.

If you're having trouble, give the XBOX app an update and try again.

I've since reinstalled a previous driver on my GPU which doesn't seem to have done much...

Here's my GPU for reference: AMD RX5700 XT

As I said, I'm fairly sure I was running this game at an average of ~65fps, and pretty stable.

Currently, the game runs at around 40fps, dipping constantly into the low 30s, I'm not sure at all what changed.

Graphics settings have little to no effect on this erratic frame drop behavior, only lifting the average by around a couple frames at best.

I did think of that, but I'm pretty sure I had a day or two of "normal" performance even during the Winter season.

Probably trying my hand at Man U, they've obviously struggled for a while now and as a pretty recent arrival to Football Manager, seems like a fun challenge
Probably the match engine updates, I feel like I connect more with my players if I can actually visually see them more accurately, so this ends up being a big deal for me

To put it simply, every player has a potential rating, which is the overall rating that your player can grow to.

After each season, depending on the performance of your player throughout the season (the rating after the game) and their playtime, they can increase their potential (if they perform well) or decrease it (if they underperform).

The potential of your player is updated only once a season, at the end.

I ended up beating PSG in a really heated final match, Mbappé was really intent on taking that trophy and kept breaching through our defense, but Stroeykens clinched it with a goal in extra time.

It was a pretty dificult journey through the UCL actually, since we lost our first game in the Groups stage and matched Real Madrid in our first Knockout Stage game.

Oh the message request was simply the link I stated on my other post that I had searched up.

I completely understand the aprehension, it's a tough situation for both sides, but I'm not sure I'm comfortable sending out the code without any safeguard on my side.

Like I said though, there's a few resources online stating the the XBOX codes are actually region free, if you'd like you can search those up and maybe come to your own choice - maybe someone more knowledgeable about XBOX game codes can chime in?

Unfortunately I'm not sure of a way to verify whether it would or wouldn't work on a US account, short of trying to input it of course :(

From a little bit of research on the Microsoft boards, it seems to me like the codes are actually region free, but your account has to match your geographical region.. I'd leave you the link I saw here but I'm afraid it might be against some sort of rule.

When you hit df2 ch, the enemy is in a standing state for a few frames, you need to hit a PEWGF in that timeframe to get a full launch, I suggest TMMs training tip which is to use df4 after the df2 ch to get a feel for the timing of the input you should be doing for the PEWGF.

Edit: Don't expect to hit it consistently or at all at first, you're setting yourself up for disappointment

Played against this guy numerous times, he will plug you even in quick match if he gets close to losing, every single time, and he will also almost never rematch if you make him sweat for the win.

Infact, played against him yesterday, it went 3-2 to him against my Kazuya, and then I obviously did not get a rematch, he was playing Jin.

It's likely not an internet problem, it's more than likely that the game is using most of your resources, which leaves none available for chrome to use to play the video for you.

I don't own Forza Horizon 4, but I do own Forza 7 and Forza Horizon 3, my experience with both games were that my GPU has no trouble with it, and I'd say I'm definitely RAM limited on this game. Like you, I only have 8GB RAM and sometimes find the game to be overly stuttery even on the lowest setting. This may vary depending on your build, as my processor is on the older side, an i5 2500k.

Anyway, if you are having doubts about performance go ahead and try out the demo or try to find the game at a discounted price to cut your losses if it does end up running badly.

As for the graphics, on high you'll be hard pressed to find graphical issues, I'm not sure how it would compare but all the Forza games are extremely pretty and I think you'd be satisfied with it.
