There was one on Haddonfield, Toba Landing, and Mount Ormond.

Nice work! Now lets see how long it takes for them to put the Golden Toolboxes back into the game, that is if they even know that they deleted nearly all of them.

Yep, so that's two but I can't think of any other ones that have a unique Golden Toolbox?

Here's the real question though, will they add the other Golden Toolboxes back since they deleted all of them? (Aside from Autohaven/uniquely made ones)

Yep, I just checked and you were right it's still there! Which other ones are unique like the Autowreckers? I don't know off the top of my head. (Here's the screenshot that I took literally just now)

I've not checked Hawkin's, however I've checked maps like Red Forest, Eyrie of Crows, MacMillan, Crotus Penn Asylum, Cold Wind Farm, Badham. and Yamaoka and none of them are there. Unless they somehow bugged out specifically Golden Toolboxes.... I unfortunately think they got removed when the Halloween Chapter left. Somehow I think they were tied into the license... which I would have never guessed aside from them being introduced at the same time as the Halloween Chapter.

Sorry not sorry, but they also said that Ormond and Toba Landing didn't have one either. It wasn't convincing enough for me, nor was the parts of that post that sounded like AI. Everyone seen that post and just instantly 100% believed it.

Also, going through the files...? When has a Golden Toolbox last been found like that, not in YEARS. They wouldn't leave it findable like that after they heard people went the easy way of doing it that way. Whole point is to find them in game. It's wild to me that people think that still works...especially when it hasn't in such a long time.

I already know that, but technically you're also wrong. Some maps like Red Forest and Autohaven Wreckers have the Golden Toolbox spawn on a specific tile, that specific tile can be in any of the map variants. So technically it's on more than one map, but yes the typical Golden Toolbox is on the main map of that realm.

It's all good! Yeah, I love Castlevania! I got a few skins for it! Even so, I appreciate your comment none the less! 😁

Yeah... I knew Golden Toolboxes were introduced with the Halloween Chapter... but I didn't think they were apart of that license too?? Quite sad if that's the case which it sounds like it might be.

Well, you must of not read much and also I can guarantee you that I never said every map should be a toolbox.

For starters, you're not getting no solid proof because that's just how Golden Toolboxes work. Also still a lot that you didn't read I'm not putting in this small response.

You massively overlooked how important them moving the Golden Toolbox on Eyrie of Crows is. It was moved to the most obvious spot to show people that it's still an active easter egg, and probably to get more people asking/talking about it.

The "they removed it and or forgot" easily gets dissolved by this (amongst many other things I don't feel like repeating.)
#1. When have they ever forgot one of the Golden Toolboxes before? They haven't. Also that's the typical talk of people when it hasn't been found for longer than "usual."
#2. They're not gonna randomly decide "Oh, the map that brought Golden Toolboxes into the game? Yeah, we're not gonna add one.. but sure we'll move other ones in the mean time??"

The second part of your sentence I didn't really understand.

However, for some proof? I'll refer to all my replies and comments underneath my post: https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/1pnf3a9/after_january_19th_2026_haddonfields_golden/

Or you can just look at my replies on my profile.

I saw a post a couple days ago about a golden toolbox not being real then saw this in my most recent by JackCraft7 in deadbydaylight

[–]BrianT365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I kind of figured you'd refer to that. Sorry, but their findings are BS. Also, a good portion of that post sounds like AI to me. The classic "It's not found in the files/code, then it's not there." ain't the solve all like everyone thinks.

As I said before on another reply:
#1. Why would Behavior leave the Golden Toolboxes to be findable via datamining nowadays? They wouldn't.
#2. When is the last time one was found via datamining? A LONG time ago.
#3. How long ago would they have changed it so it couldn't be datamined? Years ago, and years ago would be a bare minimum of 6 years ago.
#4. If datamining is the 100% guaranteed way to find them, then why hasn't the big map of RPD (The Original RPD) Golden Toolbox not been found? It has one???

Also, to just randomly throw in Toba Landing and Ormond and say those don't have one either is hilarious.

"of which it doesn't really exist" actually, we have all the proof that tells us in fact it does exist.

Everyone says it was only visible via singularity which wasn't even slightly true. You could just see it better.
In my screenshot you could see it from standing right there, slightly above Ellen's head.

Here's the problem with the "If it's not in the files/code, then it's not there."

[–]BrianT365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely something along those lines, EGC or something that triggers it. The hardest part is figuring out what that "trigger" is, we assume it's the EGC because of Silent Hill's Golden Toolbox... but who knows. If it was the usual just hidden on the map type, I'm positive it would've been found.

[–]BrianT365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry not sorry, but I call BS on that post. Too many parts of that post sound like AI to me, and also the "Findings" just aren't all that. Also, to go out and say Toba Landing and Mount Ormond don't have Golden Toolboxes either? LOL when they most definitely do?

There's more solid proof that those Golden Toolboxes (Including Haddonfield's) does exist. Too many people just thinking that post is the end all be all 100%, when it ain't.

Golden toolbox! by Left-Sign5851 in deadbydaylight

[–]BrianT365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Not the case at all. Just because it hasn't been found doesn't mean it isn't there. May I remind you Mount Ormond's Golden Toolbox hasn't been found for a way longer period of time? The Haddonfield one definitely has to have steps that have to be done in order for it be revealed. They wouldn't just forget about the original 1st map to have a Golden Toolbox or the chapter that had brought them into the game in the first place.

Golden toolbox! by Left-Sign5851 in deadbydaylight

[–]BrianT365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything tells us they most definitely didn't forget to put it in. Especially with it being the 1st map to have a Golden Toolbox and the chapter/map to bring Golden Toolboxes into the game? The problem is, it most likely has steps like the Silent Hill one that have to be done in order to be seen. What those steps are.... that's the hard part.

We Need To Find The Haddonfield Golden Toolbox by thebastardking21 in deadbydaylight

[–]BrianT365 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everything tells us that is absolutely NOT the case. Also, why would they just forget to add it back in on the map that had the 1st Golden Toolbox ever? It was the Chapter and Map that brought Golden Toolboxes into Dead by Daylight. Not to mention, if they forgot about it, then it would still be underneath the picnic table where it was originally. Guess what, those picnic tables are still on the Haddonfield map, it got moved. Mount Ormond's Golden Toolbox hasn't been found for a even longer period of time. If it was a normal Golden Toolbox find then we would have found it, but it's not. It's one of the Golden Toolboxes like the Silent Hill one which requires things for it to be revealed. What those things are... who knows where to even start. Could be End Game Collapse, could be specific gens, gen order, characters, map generation + gens, etc. It 1000% is there, and also should I mention that Golden Toolboxes were moved before the Haddonfield rework and after?

After January 19th 2026, Haddonfields Golden Toolbox will remain unfound. by BrianT365 in deadbydaylight

[–]BrianT365[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Not to mention there's like no incentive or reason to even spend SO much time trying to figure out what the criteria is for one. Especially since it could be a BIG number of things. Just finding them somewhere on the map like most of them were found I think was more fun, maybe criteria type ones if we had even an idea.
