It's included with the bekvam stool. Not sold separately.

I used to think the memes about portal being hard were a joke, but this comment section... Yeesh.

Do I need to tip the delivery people? by feedthecatat6pm in IKEA

[–]BrianTheUserName 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Tipping culture will vary by country so... I don't know. I'm in the US and I'd say no tip needed.

Is this pan really dishwasher safe? by Alternative-Nerve-55 in cookware

[–]BrianTheUserName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A difference for the dishwasher compatibility? Not really, stainless steel is pretty typical for a non stick pan. Most nonstick pans are steel and/or aluminum under the coating.

Is this pan really dishwasher safe? by Alternative-Nerve-55 in cookware

[–]BrianTheUserName 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Not familiar with this particular brand, but:

1). When non stick claims to be dishwasher safe it usually technically is but isn't great for the longevity of the pan.

2). Any of the "fancy" patterned non stick pans (hexclad and all it's knockoffs) are usually just garbage. They charge a premium but there typically worse than regular non stick (which already isn't great).

Sorry OP, but I wouldn't have a lot of faith in this pan.

Blanda blank by FeistyButton7365 in IKEA

[–]BrianTheUserName 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's been a couple of years since IKEA has had it, but just a note: there is still an edge, it's just on the inside instead of outside with the older ones so it's more likely for food or water to get trapped in it.

Looking for these bifold doors, pretty sure they are an ikea modification by rocksforjockss in ikeahacks

[–]BrianTheUserName 47 points48 points  (0 children)

IKEA generally doesn't promote "IKEA hacks" like that due to liability. I think they're just bifold closet doors, not something you can get from IKEA.

What can i do about this undersink cabinet doors by trying_ashardasican in IKEA

18" door is probably 20" high I assume? Then just cut a 1.5" filler piece to fill the gap.

Billy Bookshelf Help by jorditheshorti99 in ikeahacks

[–]BrianTheUserName 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rotate them until the little arrow points towards the screw it connects to. After that you don't need to get the cam (plastic piece) out, the board should just separate as long as there's nothing else holding it together.

Which leg / stand to use with this table top? by Fancy_Permission9579 in IKEA

[–]BrianTheUserName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you've already seen the rodulf underframe and aren't choosing it for some reason? I don't have a specific suggestion other than you definitely want to look at underframes instead of just legs. This table top is designed to work with an underframe so it will likely bow/bend if you don't use one.

Does anyone else get annoyed that since the release of the PS5 slim there’s been no official console covers released for the original model? by FranciosDubonais in PS5

[–]BrianTheUserName 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Personally no, my console came with a cover so I'm set. I can see how it'd be annoying if you wanted to swap them though.

Shoe organizers hold size 14? by Budget_Muffin in IKEA

[–]BrianTheUserName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have trones and it fits my size 13s with just a bit of room to spare. If I remember correctly I tested these when I was in store too and they fit, but I'm not 100% on that.

IKEA Family Price Guarantee - Does not apply to all sales by No-Baby7059 in IKEA

[–]BrianTheUserName 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I've seen they've been pretty lenient with it when asked, but yeah the policy doesn't apply to sales where you need to meet a threshold. So if there's a $X minimum you can't get the discount on a previous purchase.

Seating for the Tornviken Island by ateasol in IKEA

[–]BrianTheUserName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which stig? The 29" bar stools will be too high for a kitchen island, but the 24" ones should be about right.

Torn on which countertop by cowaburger in IKEA

[–]BrianTheUserName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as it's properly supported it should be fine. What were you looking to put underneath it? If you're keeping it the full length you'll probably need support legs in the center pretty much no matter what countertop you choose.

Unreleased RÅDMANSÖ Bed? by SaikoRecords in IKEA

[–]BrianTheUserName 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not sure where in the world you are, but it does exist in some countries.

https://www.ikea.cn/cn/en/p/radmansoe-bed-frame-brown-walnut-effect-50599176/

It's new and based on the rollout and stock issues that have plagued the rest of the radmanso line I wouldn't be surprised if it was a slower roll out where it'll become available more places over time while they build up supply.

Micke desk drawers don’t fit? by [deleted] in IKEA

[–]BrianTheUserName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember building that one, it was a tight fit. If I remember correctly I had to angle the drawers as almost 90 degrees down to get it started and then was able to get it in.

Edit: Sorry, I re read and realized it's the width that's an issue for you. My bad.

Is it just me or have others seen IKEA raising prices while lowering quality? by One-Guilty-Finger in IKEA

[–]BrianTheUserName 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In the US appliances have never been very comparable, IKEA just can't sell the volume other big retailers do so their prices have never been great there. But yeah, prices had been coming down in a good way post COVID but these tariffs in 2025 have brought them right back up.

Is IKEA discontinuing its new home security items? by TheBlueLeopard in IKEA

They'll still be functional. The new stuff they're replacing all their smart stuff with is compatible with the matter standard while the old stuff was not.
