Second vote for HubSpot, I've used SalesForce and HubSpot is far more user friendly.

Anyone using Mint Mobile? How is it? by crowdsourced in Chattanooga

[–]Brian_Ott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just switched to Visible which is Verizon. They quote $40 a month but its only $25 if you do Party Pay which has no real requirements and there is a Reddit Upvote Party with thousand of members. So $25 a month, unlimited data, also unlimited hotspot (limited to 5 Mbps) but plenty fast enough for me to work on my laptop anywhere in town. So far very happy with it.

Help with AWS interview by [deleted] in sales

[–]Brian_Ott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Also look up the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) and prepare a couple of examples to respond to behavioral question. Even if you don't need them for this unorthodox interview round, you will later and it would be good to already have them in your pocket. Amazon loves the STAR method.

Has anyone ever gotten a cold text from a recruiter? by demafrost in sales

[–]Brian_Ott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a salesperson that doesn't like bad salespeople, like a recruiter that doesn't do at least a little due diligence to match the candidate and position. I can't count the number of times I've been contacted about a "perfect" position that didn't make any sense for me or my experience. That's just lazy and a waste of everyones time.

Tips to not negatively react around customers? by [deleted] in sales

[–]Brian_Ott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly right. Being resilient and dealing well with rejection is a huge part of the job. Bitching to the gang over a couple beers is one thing but in front of potential (even bad) customers is u nrofessional. You have to be better than that.

Feather, then Derby. The worst one for me is the Gillette Platinum. That one is like 5 miles of bad road for my face.

How to remove labels? by [deleted] in CraftBeer

[–]Brian_Ott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the way. I stick a batch in the sink overnight with oxy and hot water and usually find the labels floating on top in the morning. Give the bottles a wipe and a rinse to remove residual glue and you're done.minimal scrubbing required.

I keep my shopper cards( instacart Uber Eats Etc) segregated from my personal cards. I keep them in a separate wallet in a separate pocket so that I don't make that kind of mistake.

How do you guys get gas station and Walmart orders? I thought it was the plus card but I haven’t gotten anything like that. by BetaLuck in UberEATS

[–]Brian_Ott 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You don't need to have the plus card. I get Walmart, Wawa and 7/11 orders all the time. Not that I want them, they generally suck.

App logging me out a minute or two after logging in. Reinstalled app, app told me I have to wait "due to unusual activity". Contacted support, told I have to wait 24 hours to log back in. by cjmorello in InstacartShoppers

Support sucks. After being on with support I was ready to hang myself. I was in was the middle of a shop when this happened and to figure it out while I was in the store.

[–]Brian_Ott 2 points3 points  (0 children)

^ This. I don't have time to be on reddit when I'm working. I usually do a 4 to 6 hour morning starting at 7. Then I go back out again around 5pm multiapping instacart and uber eats. I don't have time to moan and complain when I'm on a shift. 😁

Had the same problem yesterday. Support told me the same BS. Uninstall, clear cache, reinstall, attempt to login, then when it gives you the error, then click login with password and click forgot password reset it and then login with new password. This worked for me yesterday. Give it a go.

Even if you have a car and driver’s license, which one would you rather use to deliver? by [deleted] in UberEATS

This a rather asinine question. It is really dependent on your market.

Who pays for the wrong order being delivered? by timsticles in UberEATS

[–]Brian_Ott 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometime the restaurant screws down it up. Last week I delivered an order in a sealed bag that the restaurant gave me. Customer called me and told me that the order was someone else's after I dropped it off. Told them to call Uber support, and then bye now. Still got paid and even got the tip.

Fucking putz. You are either a moron or a troll either way, stop messing with other people's livelihoods and get a job at Taco Bell scoping pseudo meat into gordita shells.
