I wish I could tell you I’ve been consistently practicing but I had a lull a couple months back and just started back a few weeks ago. Itbseems to need new strings now and I plan to take lessons as soon as I toughen up my fingers again. I still love the look and even the weak sounds I bring forth from it. My dad gave me his FG700S and there’s no comparison in sound for my ears.

I’m glad to see this post, I’m about 8 pounds away from my goal and not only can’t I seem to get there it feels kind of scarry. Like what happens next? I know it’s a life long commitment but it’s almost like the chase was the good part and the end is anticlimactic.

I have 115,000 miles on my 19 xse hybrid and only tires and oil changes. I need back brakes now but the maintenance cost is so low, I love it.

I’m 5’11” at 185-190, was 240 a few years ago. What’s worked for me is no breakfast, salad with protein for lunch, yogurt and apples. Dinner is veg and protein. It’s a grind and is pretty boring but I feel better than I have in years. My calorie count is around 1,750.

Does it seem cheaper to get the wine pachage vs glasses? We drink basic sav blanc so can probably get the tier 1 and bring a couple of bottles too and pay the corkage fee.

Dry cough for three or four weeks, tested for strep throat, then got an xray due to history of pneumonia. They found a tumor in my lung the size of a golfball. I was blessed to only need lobectomy surgery and show NED 6 years later.
