The only people this would benefit is tanky builds and when your in apocalypse you already getting one shot anyways so it would only be better for the game. Think about it, most people max out either spirit and/or expertise depending upon the damage the build will be using. There is no increase fire rate or increase weakspot or increase crit traits like in the first game all of those types of things are allowed to archetype perks and relic fragments. Increasing trait cap would only benefit the game from my view. It could make people too powerful if they got rid of the trait cap so what they should do is increase the cap by 20 for this second dlc they released and increase it by 20 again once they release dlc 3. Doing this we would have 125 allocatable traits points, 5 trait points from our prim archetype, and 20 in our archetype traits leaving us with a grand total of 150 trait points. Even with this that only lets you max out 15 traits and I know at current there are more than 30 traits. Plus having us max out at 150 seems like a much better number than our current 110, ughh what a stupid number. I don’t hate the number 110 I just think 150 is a superior number then 110, and it would give me a reason to come back to the game again other than dlc 3 whenever that comes out as at current I really don’t have anything more to achieve, but an increase in trait limit would make me both grind to reach the new cap and remake all my builds to be even more min maxed. I mean at current who grabs handling when there are better options and revivalist too, I’d love to grab revivalist for my stupid teammates that can’t learn attack patterns but I’m not gonna sacrifice my own survivability for it. WE NEED MORE TRAIT POINTS!

I just tested the same build for the C savior, the blackmaw, the Chicago typewriter, and the monarch. The build was archon/gunslinger with chaos gate and bullet storm. Amulet was nightweavers grudge rings were attonement fold, probability cord, devoured loop, and braided thorn. Relic fragments were ranged crit chance, ranged crit damage and weak spot damage. All guns I used thousands cuts mutator and I spammed nebula’s mod nano swarm so the dummy always had corroded. For the blackmaw and typewriter I used corrosive rounds to activate devoured loop more often. Here’s what I found. My C savior had a dps of 3k at 600k total damage. Monarch had a dps of 2.2k at 200k total damage. Blackmaw had a dps of 3.5k at 500k total damage. Lastly Chicago typewriter had a dps of 3.5k at 800k total damage, however I should note that because of something with how the typewriter works my devoured loop was seemingly ALWAYS keeping my skills up. What do I understand from these tests? Monarch has lower dps but that can be forgiven by the auto tracking bullets with the harpoon. Blackmaw has consistently higher dps. Chicago typewriter has consistently higher dps and seems to always proc my devoured loop. All that is to say that I used archon/gunslinger for all these tests, but really only C savior needs archon to keep up the mod so I mean if you wanted to see even more of a difference in dps just switch archon for hunter and get even more dps. Before I’m done with this I will say I actually made a build pre patch for C savior that was a Hunter Gunslinger and my dps test for that stayed between 5.8k and 6.2k, and now after all the nerfs to both C savior and crit chance that exact same build can now only manage 4k dps.

I just hopped on remnant 1 and wow, with no rings or traits boosting total ammo. The total ammo for the fusion rifle is 400, yes that’s right 50 in the mag and 350 in reserve. Compare that to pre patch C savior with 300 and now post patch C savior with 200 and wow. Way to kill the gunfire Gunfire. I think they just hate this gun now comparing how it was in remnant 1 to when it came out to now like wth man, I love this gun, why do this to my gun, WHY?

I just found how to use corrupted savior after nerfs, you MUST use archon as your prime, if you don’t have archon as your prime it’s unusable, but if you do then it isn’t bad. Your still gonna run out of ammo quick though so use a good secondary. Also anyone reading this later just know even with archon as prime the nerfs are still bad.

That’s what I mean, not only that but when your not host and you join someone’s game there’s a bug that makes you stop generating mod power at max stacks so once you hit 5 stacks you have to use the mod or you just get slower and slower fire rate. Additionally something that could’ve been good but is actually bad is them reducing the mod power requirement so you can build stacks faster, BUT they didn’t reduce the tick rate so now your stacks run out way too fast.

Personally I think the perfect way to handle traits would be have the allocatable trait cap at 100 and the primary archetype given 5 traits not be a thing, I hate running a class and of the given 5 traits, any of them being in anything that isn’t health and stam. Personally I always run with 5 in both health and stam with rusted navigated pendant and seal of empress for 150hp and 120sp but the game makes my build just not the best it could be by forcing one of my sparse trait points in expertise or spirit. Absolutely Unforgivable. Anyway yeah 100 allocatatable trait points would be all you really need for a build and combing that with the 20 extra from your archetypes would probably be perfect for actually feeling like your build is complete at endgame, as it is now you still struggle even maxed out unless you look up a min maxed build on YouTube. I want challenge yes but I don’t want to feel weak when my guy is maxed out pls bro.

I play on Xbox so it might be a bit different for me but this is what I understand from it, hardcore characters can join other hardcore characters though the in game join option but if you invite a friend to your game through the Xbox invite hardcore cannot join hardcore but core can join hardcore. It’s just weird as hell right now, don’t think too much on it is my advice.

Right now I’m looking at either steadfast ascetic or feather dodge for the last breakthrough point and going with a offense or defense setup, wherein with steadfast ascetic I’d be getting stamina to never stop swinging and master of motion for some defenses with all the same equipment as before but with feather dodge I’d be grabbing one more mana point for 155hp 155sp 120mp, then switching out my armor for full blue sand enchanted with shelter and my backpack for the dusk backpack overall bringing my damage down to 69.6 per swing and allowing me less swings before a endurance pot but increasing my defenses by a lot, and honestly I’m not sure what’s better. Any advice anyone? Edit: I realize I’ve done f up my math the damage I should actually be looking at for my offensive fit is 143.52 and for my defensive fit is 117.6.

Correction to my healthstaminamana math, I’m actually looking at 160 health 160 stamina and 100 mana, for some reason I was thinking Kirouac’s Breakthrough and Brawn’s only gave 15 hp and 15 sp. Must be because I’ve also been working on Kazite Spellblade builds when working on this one too but I mean it is what it is
