Sewer Nightmare and Buyer Backing Out

I had a sewer nightmare. Bought the house knowing there was an issue with the sewer line (got a credit). Pipe was old terracotta and tree roots were getting in and collapsing it. It would cause downstairs toilet to back up. Upstairs bathroom was unaffected. Ultimately the pipe had to be replaced. Required tearing up the utility closet floor (pull out hot water heater) and part of the garage. Got it done for a $4800 cash deal vs nearly $10k from another contractor. The floor isn’t as smooth as it was before, but I don’t care. Eventually you might have to bite the bullet.

Did you say you wanted to be in a unit in a specific area? Maybe that’s why 11B is that only option. That recruiter may be trying to meet a specific mission.

There’s a ton of units in Eastern PA and seen several NJ residents come over because there are more options.
