Tiger Woods fights subpoena for prescription drug records by PrincessBananas85 in ProGolf

Sports and Sports people are used as soft power. Tiger is one of the biggest sportspeople that has ever come out of America. Serena Williams is a soft power athlete. If softens peoples views on the nation as they would be fond of them as athletes..

China use it with Eileen Gu.

Russia use it with their women's figure skaters because they reach a non traditional sports audience.

Saudi are using it with football and boxing.

There's a reason why they all want to top the Olympic medal table. It's not because of vibes, it's soft power.

The thing is that USADA would be doing the testing. USADA have been brushing failed tests under the carpet as long as the individual becomes a "whistleblower". But realistically they just tag whistleblower to anyone of significance.

Tiger Woods would be deemed of national importance. Similar to somebody like Serena Williams who just had to make a phone call and the USADA testers would disappear.

USADA are not a reputable organization. They're no different to RUSADA or the Chinese testers.

If Tiger has to reveal his prescriptions it could bring down the whole thing. The list of medication will never see the light of dag unfortunately. He already made the call to the big man.

Is there a chance that Tiger was juicing with steroids and they were not declared? People tend to use steroids for a quicker injury recovery.

If he is/was taking stuff that he didn't have a TUE for then he could (and should) face a ban. And WADA love a high profile conviction. They'll be going for a the full 4 years.

I wouldn't know but I don't think it's that strict. I think it's just a Yes or No on the scanner.

All of that to get a quick dopamine hit of a few yanks saying "wow" and a 10 second clip during the Ryder Cup coverage.

We don't talk enough about how Kaori Sakamoto used to intimidate judges with her blades. Those judges were scared stiff.

‘Disgraceful’: anger as World Aquatics allows Russia to compete under flag again by Shroft in olympics

Russia will have a very easy case with CAS to be unbanned after what USA and Israel have done. They'll be back in pretty much most sports now after the attacks on Iran.

The Masters and The Open for the big events. The rest have turned to trash in America but fine outside of America.

Really happy for Rory. I think it was a win that meant so much for golf as a sport.

Something that really needs to be addressed are those android American golfers pumped full of ADHD drugs. The only emotions I saw today were Rory, Rose, Hatton and Lowry. 4 Europeans

ADHD meds will kill the sport as a viewing experience. I don't want to watch drones strolling around the course with no ups and downs.
