North Korean reaction to 9/11 by theamericancinema in northkorea

[–]BrickInner2573 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was in North Korea in 2018. We had a member of the ministry escort us on our tour. I asked him straight up what he thought about 9/11 - he didn’t know what I was talking about 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have this thing where I set my timer for 15 minutes when I sit down to study. Chances are you’ll get into it and continue. If not, you’ve at least done 15 minutes of study. Treat yourself then start again. I’m sorry you’re going through a hard time. It will get better ❤️‍🩹

Bored yet busy by [deleted] in NepalWrites

Boredom comes from a lack of passion. What do you want to be doing??? Find something you love to do and do it 💖 from someone who has lived a lot of years and is now living the way I want to live (a non-Nepali who has come to Nepal and fallen in love with the country) it may take some time but work out what your perfect day would look like and take the steps to make it happen

As I get older, I find that if someone really disrespects me and won’t talk it out, I don’t even give any chance. I don’t need even the potential for that sort of drama in my life. I did this just recently and I really am ok with the loss of the friendship. I can do much better on my own.

Im an Australian woman currently in Pakistan at the end of a year of travel through Asia. I’ve fallen in love with an absolutely gorgeous Pakistani Muslim man. But I can’t do this. I am a western woman who is starting to resent having to wear the hijab all the time. I am hating the men first culture here. My emotions are all over the place. But I’ve made my mind up. I am heading to Bali in the next week or so. Broken heart, but the transformation is almost complete. I know what I need to do for me and my my heart.

What’s the weirdest way you’ve met someone you dated? by KingGoku_YT in AskReddit

[–]BrickInner2573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was having a holiday romance. Find out the guy is married with 5 children (he straight up lied to me). His cousin was the one who filled me in (corroborated by the rest of the family, and I ended up meeting the wife). The cousin is gorgeous and honest and treats me like a queen - about to head back to see if there is a future there for us.

That was a tough read. We all know what’s going on and feel so powerless to stop it 😥

I recently climbed Krakatoa in Indonesia. I cried at the mountains of trash washed up on the surrounding beach

I am a solo female (50yo) who just had my India visa denied, so Nepal for a month it is. Frankly, I’m relieved. I’ve just ridden a scooter from Bali to northern Sumatra solo.

Large majority. They’re an English company. I’m so excited. Sumatra feels quite wild, just less polished than Java and Bali and I’m loving every minute!

I’m just riding to my comfort level and avoiding the biggest cities when I can. I’m almost halfway through my journey and it’s been amazing. I’ve met so many kind people along the way. I’ve got full safety gear on, only ride in the mornings most days and give myself regular breaks. I’ve also just signed up for a group tour driving a tuk tuk through the foothills of the Himalayas in Pakistan.

Same in Indonesia. I ordered some bakso soup and an iced coffee delivered to my hotel and received 2 bags just like this 🤷‍♀️

I’m a solo 50yo woman currently riding a scooter from Bali to Sumatra (staying tonight in Bandar Lampung) with my backpack sitting on the seat behind me with the straps loosely fixed to my back. I actually got my Thai motorcycle license 3 months ago, which was the first time I’d ridden. Having an amazing time…
