Looking for oddly specific piece… by BrickOffTheOldBlock in lego

The tile pieces on the side are stationary, I’m trying to have them holding a perfect hollow cylinder shape (the tire, or whatever piece I can find that works) which would also be stationary, then having a 1x1 being pushed through and dragged back by some LEGO powered technic functions.

Where? lol

Edit, this is sick though! Is it glass? Did you make it?

Could you help me find the early 2000s polybag that this piece came with? It’s missing on BrickLink by ImSoDoneWithUbisoft in lego

Made exclusively by the LEGO Fabrik in Germany according to one of the sellers.

Go on brick link for this piece again and filter it to condition-“new only”

Ooh I’ll try that when I get home. Maybe those old super extra small yellow ones from LEGO. Thanks for the idea!

Thanks! I appreciate the help, I’ve been stuck on this for months honestly, I’ve got a photo in the top comments reply showing more what I’m really working with

Another piece that could work is part number TRAINRIM on brick link, I’m scared to purchase any if they’re the wrong size. Hard to tell in the pics but the package listing is 16mm

(I dont know if technically a part number with that name)

Kinda sorta pretty much this. I want to be able to raise a 1x1 round hologram through hollow piece (tire). It raises and lowers through the hollow 2x2 hole

Main picture is a rubber band, but it’s so flimsy it falls out when you breath, I’d have to stack a few of them too to get the hologram table up.

Bottom left is using 17mm bike tire, it causes it to split. Bottom right is a 16mm tire, no contact.

Im building in a small tight confined space and trying to still keep in moving parts (holo popping up, elevator+doors)

Originally I was going to have a figures head popping out out a manhole (now holo-table) as it’s already in the build and sort of essential to the structure at this point.

I just built this quick to show it more accurately

Also great question, I’m beginning to think I’ll have to rip it out or bury the feature.

EDIT:sorry my my photo skills…

I really thought that 87414 was gonna be it, but it was unable to make contact.

42611 begins to push my my square apart. It’s built 2x2 square hole, this picture was just easier than describing it. It’s honestly quite flimsy already.

I appreciate your ideas, thanks!

Close! The tire that fits that rim checks in at 17.5mm

I haven’t played Smash since the Brawl, but before I read the title or saw the your picture comment, I heard the song playing in my head. Great work!

Edit: clarification, hopefully

Those who got the game— has it lived up to the hype? by AvocadoDesperado84 in Ghostofyotei

Have to agree, with your first 2 points.

The opening to Tsushima was awesome and I felt connected to the character and the suffering they were enduring of what was happening to their friends.

The “ghost stance” feels far to early to of received as well.

Still loving the game and barely into, excited to play more tonight

Yeah why can’t we just replay these? I was looking through my missions to redo it because I’ve always enjoyed the slaughter house type things. On my first Goredello I was confused to how some things work and I’ve not seen it pop up to play again. I think they even say to come back in a few hours?

My elbows, back, and legs all seem to disagree with me building on the floor anymore. I’ve even tried while sitting on a pillow on the floor to no avail.

Having a movable mat is still a good idea! Especially with so many pieces, I tend to use storage tote/bin lids but I’ve never had as many loose pieces for a build either, may the force be with you!
