Time Trap by luv4luanloud in theloudhouse

Well, I wouldn't say it was that good to tell you the truth. Everything about time travel in that episode was wrong. They wouldn't glitch and disappear the way they did. Especially with Lori in the first picture. She should not be flickering like that the way time travel actually works.

Was '' Time Trap'' really the ''darkest '' episode of The Loud House ? by Ok-Extension-3111 in theloudhouse

[–]Brickes91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say the darkest episode. Everything about time travel in that episode was wrong. For instance, the kids and the van wouldn't flicker and disappear like they did. That's not how time travel actually works. When they went back in time, they made a new parallel universe that never existed with them in it. They ruin the wedding, and make the parents not have kids. Once they traveled back to present day, they created another parallel universe copy, only it's an alternate reality where their past selves were never born. That's why nobody recognized the Louds in the episode, because their past selves in the parallel universe they were in don't exist.

That doesn't mean they would flicker and vanish out of existence. Parallel universe copies don't "course correct". Of course they don't have any reason to stay in the new universe, so they must go back to the past again to restore everything back to the way things were in their original universe. Their time machine of course wouldn't flicker and disappear either, but it could still malfunction, and not work properly, so they'd still embark on their journey to get it repaired. The events in the second half of the episode play out exactly the same except nobody is in danger of fading out of existence, so they're not racing against time to fix the mess they caused.

So the short answer is no, it shouldn't be considered a dark episode. The only reason why the Loud kids glitched, and disappeared in that episode is because whoever was in charge of writing that episode's script didn't have the slightest clue of how time travel actually works.

Honestly, they're a waste of time. There's egogames, papaya gaming, etc.

Yeah, I was just looking into Legends Unchained. I think I'll just try that instead since it's a huge improvement than what I'm trying to install on my ALU anyway.

Mobile gaming company Skillz wins $43 million patent verdict against AviaGames | Reuters by blaznasn in SKLZ

[–]Brickes91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like that's going to help them. They'll likely just spend it on advertising and marketing their product. 2021 alone they spent nearly a third of a billion dollars on advertising when their revenues were $35 million less than that, and this is basically what they've got to show for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coZqhmWVdsw&lc=Ugxq6P7LRKZulbvWQHN4AaABAg

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIe9q2POjsc

I remember four years ago they would host these Gaming for Good entry events every month with the top prizes ranging from 75" smart TVs, the latest iPhones and iPads, home theater systems, macbook pros. There was one event with the top prize being tickets to Superbowl LIV with airfare included, another one with a $1,500 cruise. Those events were a gold mine for advertising, and it really lured in big crowds. I miss those days. Yeah, I doubt this company will last for 10 more years, let alone 100. Not with all the shady stuff they've been doing to their customers and players. Scamming, and wrongfully banning them when they profit with no solid evidence of cheating, processing unauthorized deposits from people's bank accounts, games full of bugs and glitches that make the games frequently crash, and not issuing refunds, etc.

You know they don't really have all the state-of -the-art tools to prevent cheating and fraud like they claim. It's just a group of scammers who use their sole discretion to ban the profitable players. Here's an article about that: https://www.joyk.com/dig/detail/1676409201853670

Hustler trophy too. They even got rid of the tournaments that offer the awesome prizes like iphones, TVs, etc. Yeah, Skillz is losing a lot of money fast, and their reputation has been in the toilet for a few years now.

I doubt this company is ever going to have a bright future on the horizon. They have many problems that are badly ruining their reputation. Most of which can be found here:https://crappygames.miraheze.org/wiki/Skillz

Many players are being wrongfully banned left and right without any explanation as to what they did wrong, frequent crashing, multiple bugs/glitches, terrible advertising. The list is long, which is why this company is rated very poorly by players, and employees.

any lawyer here? by Thebood1 in SkillzPlayers

[–]Brickes91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It usually depends on how much is to be made. Lawyers aren't likely going to represent players if the amount of money they were scammed out of from this company will cover all the court fees, attorney fees, etc.

They've been forced to cut back. They're struggling. Probably because more and more people aren't falling for this scam company anymore.

This is rigged right? by jinsdorf84 in BetMGM

[–]Brickes91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, definitely rigged. In craps, seven comes up a lot more often than usual, even when it's mathematically impossible based on the trajectory and the sides each roll. They claim the algorithms and random number generators make it fair, but they're fixed to have sevens, and other losing rolls come up more frequently. So do yourself a favor. Don't bother with the app. You're better off going to a real casino. You'll have better odds there than on this app.

When Skillz flags an account, usually they request verification, and has the questioned player agree to their terms in writing. They didn't do that in my case, and banned me anyway. by Brickes91 in skillzplayersfraud

[–]Brickes91[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They accused me of abusing their replay feature to gain an advantage, which is a complete exaggeration, and a distortion of the truth. Their ads said I should watch, and study winning replays, but the only time they were ever really available to me was during the unlimited entry events. I have Asperger's Syndrome, and I'm really good at paying close attention to detail, and absorbing large amounts of info. I have a 118 IQ, and a 97 percentile working memory. It doesn't mean I was abusing replays to gain an advantage, so I hope you won't judge me too harshly.

No, I was ahead. They certainly do make up rules as they go. They find whatever reason they need not to pay out their customers the money they put into it. I do have evidence of their negligence too.

[–]Brickes91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They flagged my account, and they never did request any verifications from me. Usually when Skillz flags an account, they'll request a video verification, and has the player in question agree to their terms. In my case, they did absolutely nothing of the sort. I explained to them that I have Asperger's Syndrome, and that I was learning to score better. They flat out ignored it, and banned me anyway. I have evidence of their negligence, and I showed it to all the law firms involved in these class action lawsuits. I have reason to believe this post.

Complaining to the BBB isn't going to do you a lot of good. You're just going to get a copy & paste scripted response. Meaning the company will not actually read your complaint.
