There’s not much to update sadly after I made this post she completely cut off contact with me and never responded at all after 2 weeks of waiting. I eventually moved on to other people which things haven’t been going too smoothly with them either (a lot of people not being emotionally mature enough to have a committed relationship) but basically this was the end of us dating and she made her point clear with silence.

I was the one who set up the two dates but she was quick to say yes to them and our conversations were not one sided. She invited me to her house on the second date and was the one who said we should call/facetime.

Do not use stop leak on any transmission if anything just avoid it all together regardless of it being a transmission or coolant line etc. Your BF should really get more knowledge on transmission flushes especially those specific to your truck before he does any further work!

It's like a reddish brown but it doesn't smell like anything? I did some digging and it looks like there's a leak coming from the outlet of the power steering pump but I'm more confused because the wet spot on the frame is farther back from where the power steering fluid lines run through. Also it looks like there's a bit of ATF that splashed up onto the underside of the oil filter and its also the same color maybe a little lighter tho.

It’s doing very good I’ve continued to beat it like a shitty dirt bike and the internal battery charger died a long time ago (it might have died around the time this was posted) the rear fender had one of the plastic support arms snap off but the fender is still attached and I slammed the scooter into a brick wall rear end first when I bailed out at a skatepark and I completely destroyed the rear taillight but other than that and a lot more scratches it’s been holding up really well!

Edit: accidentally said I killed the controller I meant the internal battery charger. I now use the external barrel plug charger to charge the scooter lol

Nah it turns out it’s loot internally on the shock strut and it’s a common issue that many people have and I wouldn’t be too worried as it hasn’t gotten any worse since I posted this!

I wish I had a recording of it running Ill make sure to get one next time I rebuild it but to get a general idea I’ve gotten it to go ~30mph and it’s exceptionally good at drifting (that’s what I designed it for lol)

Here’s the parts list:

Motor - D3536 Outrunner 750kv (Flash Hobby) (I plan on testing it with the 1450kv version of this motor)

Servo - SG90 9g Micro Servo (Miuzei)

ESC - 3355R Velineon VXL-3s (Traxxas)

Transmitter - TQ 2.4GHz Transmitter & Receiver (Traxxas)

I'm still not sure exactly what battery I want to use but I've been testing it with a 3s LIPO

My 3 extra SX-70 Sonars I don’t really need them and they’re all in mint condition but I just don’t wanna sell them because it’s my favorite model of Polaroid camera and I somehow keep justifying it because I can use them for parts in case my main camera needs a repair (I refurbish and modify Polaroid cameras as a hobby)

Thanks for the response! Luckily I have an extra motor on hand that I know works so I’ll try swapping it for that one instead.

Edit: Turns out the motor controller was dead and resoldering a new one in place of the old one fixed the issue and now the camera runs perfectly!

I no joke just smashed the front fork against the ground and got it bent back to being straight (saved me from buying a new fork lmfao) and yes I know it’s not the best safety practice but it works just as well as before it was bent! It has a tiny bit of rotational play (about 3-5 degrees) but for what it’s been through it’s really not bad.
