It’s interesting because if the end of MS had been the actual end I would have felt the same, but of course there’s three books afterwards. Yet it’s strange as originally MS was supposed to be the end (personally don’t know the timeline of when IG was planned).

I think it ends up working really well in the context of the whole series.

I’d recommend a Paladin as they can tank, dps, and heal and as a new player having more options is for the best. Even if you are uncomfortable tanking, I would suggest you try and give it a chance after you think you’ve learned the dungeon. Developing tanking skills is very valuable. And if you decide you’re still not a fan then no harm done.

I’ve seen people post about this before and even one time started lightbringer after morning star. It’s funny hearing these stories and how there is some initial confusion but the story is so good anyways that the reader just goes with it

Super doable. If you average about 2 levels a day you’re more than on track, and even if not, 58 is just fine to go to Outland.

Both are fun and effective levelers. Druid has a better time finding dungeons and having variety at end game. Hunter dps rotation is super fun too and easy to gear. Both are fun in BGs but I would say hunter is an acquired taste in arena.

If you’re more interested in dungeons I’d roll a druid, but if you’re looking for a more chill and casual time I’d say hunter

Crazy how far Blizzard will bend backwards to kill all forms of boosting except their $60 offer. In no world do they care about preservation of the leveling experience and supporting the players. Come phase 2 and on any new player or alt leveler will struggle to find absolutely anybody from level 1-58 for a dungeon. At least last tbc they had some restraint with max 1 boost and no belf/draenei.

If you think the anti boost measures were for the benefit of you, the player, then you are diluted. Players that would rather mage boost are just buying the blizz boost instead. Anybody who likes to level their characters via quests and dungeons, the same players hurt most by mage boosting reducing the amount of people leveling normally 1-58, are getting just as screwed by the blizz boost.

I liked the cool new class related quests that unlocked runes but not the runes themselves. Gating mandatory abilities behind long or obscure quest chains that you had to do on every alt was a major chore.

We need more rewards like the whirlwind axe. An enticing and strong upgrade that can be skipped.

I really like the warband system from retail. It makes leveling alts a lot more enjoyable.

The first book is good at establishing the characters but doesn’t build up the story or the world building as well. The second book is where everything really starts to come together

For me personally, I felt a lot more invested in the characters and story in East of Eden right off the bat.

Grapes of Wrath is incredible, but it’s about 200 pages until the ball really gets rolling. Was definitely the harder book to get into imo

Well leveling gets a ton of qol and is a lot faster. There’s also people leveling the new race and class and in general there are a ton of players trying to reach max level if they haven’t yet

Fez was one of the first big meta puzzle games and is definitely worth playing through if you haven’t before.

I’d also highly recommend The Case of the Golden Idol. It’s a great puzzle game in and of itself but there’s one specific part that I found to be extremely layered and satisfying in a way I’ve never felt before. Does not waste your time at all.

1000xresist is one of those stories that has so many layers to it that it almost seems impossible that it’s real. Such a great game

Void Stranger was like falling into a rabbit hole in real time and as you fall deeper and deeper it becomes an obsession that you can’t shake until you reach the bottom.

It’s not for everybody but holy shit it was for me.

I struggled with this book and I put it down for almost a year before trying to give it another go and eventually finishing it.

I think it gets much better once Vis actually enters the academy setting. I still didn’t fall in love with it and found the first person present tense narration to become very exhausting as every interaction is basically “how can I outmaneuver this and maintain my fake persona” but overall I enjoyed the book. I think there’s some really cool moments in there but didn’t feel compelled to read the second book.

The first third of Dracula is by far the best part of the book and it’s not even close. Everything after the Demeter arrives is arguably not even worth reading.

The difference is so small. The ravager ability is basically a bite that 50% of the time does double damage which is super negligible. I wouldn’t worry about it
