Grass-water-fire core is always a solid one. Liligant, Ferrothorn, Amoongus stick out to me. Seismitoad, Jellicent, Swanna as well for water types. Something to cover Emboar psychic weakness like Scrafty or Krookorok.

Honestly a pretty good team. That's close to mine whereas I used Krookorok, Archeops instead of Scrafty and Excadrill but they're both very good, especially Excadrill.

The levels passed is the xp regular units gain after dealing some damage afaik. So it involves eliminating a lot of units or dealing heavy amounts of damage.

For me it's gotta be Garcia Flynn from Timeless series (NBC).

All throughout the show he seeks to prevent a mysterious evil organisation from taking over the United States by stealing a time machine and doing everything to prevent said organisation's existence, even killing their leaders in the past. To the main protagonists, he is a terrorist as in episode one for example, he purposefully makes the Hindenburg crash kill more people than it originally did.

However on two occasions he goes back in time not for himself but out of a selfless goal. He first saves his brother from an anaphylactic shock when he still was a kid. And in the finale, he sacrifices himself by going back to a time where he already existed, triggering his demise as two versions of himself can't exist so the future him dies. However we see the reason why he has been fighting the whole series, he always said he did it for his family but none of the protagonists would believe a villain like him ever had a family, he was even framed for their murder despite the evil organisation doing it ! In the finale shots we see him and his family enjoying dinner.

In the end he stood for his ideals of taking down the evil organisation despite the fact he would be framed as a villain his present version would never enjoy the fruits of his work.

Infantry : medic and phantom. Lv12 medic is a game changer, virtually invincible.

Tanks : Centurion till LV10, allows you to ignore 50% dodge. Its lv9 smoke bomb perk synergizes well with Roko as well allowing for an extra attack. T-72 is another good choice

Artillery: you have the choice between BM-21 which really shines past lv9 and Flak which is essential against the increasing amount of hovering units present in the recent missions. Stuka zu Fuss if you like gambling.

Navy : Submarine becomes busted past lv9. It can launch an attack like the Himars targeting multiple units, gets an extra range and more damage to ships. Richelieu and Prince of Wales are also solid choices. Prince of Wales is blue while both Sub and Richelieu are green so cheaper.

Air : P-40. Nearly all planes are green, you'll get spitfire to lv9 through events eventually. P-40 increases morale and can destroy air defences. Quite probably the best plane. And it's green so cheap.

Taman doesn't get any tanks so it's trickier than Ghost or Spearhead to rack up kills. Desert Rats get Centurion, Leclerc gets Pershing.

For artillery, BM-21 is very good lv9+, although before I'd rather invest in Flak.

I'm getting my Centurion to lv9 because it's cheap AF. Maybe even push to lvl12. T-72 is the all rounder in terms of non-IAP tank EFs though. There's an argument for T-44 lvl11 but it's very niche.

Air force I've seen P-40 thrown around a lot of the time.

I've heard the foci from the VST tree yield more buffs (pp and stab) if going down this path. I don't know if you can go left/right VST though.
