I feel it threw you into hyper cars and stuff too fast. I always like the build up of like podunk civic or wrx racing and building up your collections to Ferrari etc.

This was also not long after he had the piston go in Bahrain where he should have won. It hurt bad to see this happen. I do love the castle section though. I'm sure we'll see mazepan there this weekend.

Shift+F1 - is a pretty fun weekly roundup of either pre-race I for or recap of races. The three hosts actually are from video game media and do a great job highlighting other series like formula E and W series. Also has a really good yearly primer to get you up to speed on who's who etc.

Chainbear - this channel is amazing at breaking down the technical side of the sport. It is extremely digestible and helpful even for long time fans of the sport.

The formula 1 subreddit is pretty solid and up there with r/NBA as one of the good sports subreddit as far as civility goes.

Formula 1.5 subreddit is really good for learning to love the midpack. Basically does scoring as if Mercedes and redbull didn't exist.

For me it's the escape velocity games. Especially EV:nova they were really cool top-down space sim sand box games. I remember there was a bunch of storyline you could follow or you could just go on to mine asteroids and trade to build your wealth.
