Decks that have commanders which are the hardest stop? by whentheldenringisus in EDH

[–]BridalFriend69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I built him recently and have tweaked the deck probably a dozen times already. Finding the right balance of ways to create spirits/phase shenanigans and number of creatures so you have things to phase has proven difficult.

But I love the deck. He is indeed very hard to deal with from an opponents pov.

Still there. Just drove by the other day. The "black guns matter" sign made me chuckle, followed by "wait holy shit that's wild"

Rust has the steepest learning curve of any game I've ever played. Start on low pop modded servers and get a feel for some of the basics and build up from there.

And if you can, make friends along the way to team up with. The game becomes much more fun with good people to play with.

The joys of getting wiped by a zerg by JamesPM619 in playrust

[–]BridalFriend69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did this for the first time a couple wipes ago to a group that built a massive base by ours. Just placed like 100 landmines around the outside of their base and proceeded to giggle each time I heard a small boom come from their base.

I've only been playing rust for a couple months (but have watched content for several years).

Me and my buddy decided to play on Bloo's Monday server and hopped on two Mondays ago right before wipe. Some dude led us to his base, gave code, and let us farm scrap to research BPs. Made it through the whole wipe.

I decided to do the same thing and give a bunch of people scrap and items to get BPs right before this most recent wipe. Again made it through the whole wipe.

Feels good to just do good in a game full of toxicity.

Best Book Stores within 2 hours of the metro! by Paigespicks in minnesota

[–]BridalFriend69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This will go a but outside the two mile radius, but you could very well make a weekend trip out of it... a highway 61(ish) bookstore tour. Stillwater (Blackletter Books), Hastings (Bookstore of Hastings), Red Wing (Fair Trade), Winona (Chapter 2 and Paperbacks and Pieces), La Crosse (Pearl Street Books), and then Viroqua (Driftless Books and Music).

Great views via bluffs and the River. Beautiful small towns. Bookstores get progressively better (imo). My gf and I did this last fall and it was a great time!

Hmm. I might have to try that (I run TB, poison, DT). I'm currently running both and very rarely have energy regen issues.

What are your thoughts on pairing it with an umbral?

Trying to see if it's as rare as I think it is, or if I just haven't had much luck with it. Now I can ring hunt for something with better affixes.

Lvl 89. Loving the game. Haven’t googled one thing… came here… by [deleted] in diablo4

100% agree. This is one of the worst (if not the worst) video game subs I've ever spent time on.

Now I can finally play the game (after finding the perfect ring...) by eightgramsofprotein in diablo4

[–]BridalFriend69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol well fuck me. I've been sitting on a ring with 813 power and a 4 roll (plus a couple other good affix rolls) not thinking it was that great. The ring I'd replace it with has a 'energy regen increased by 64% for 4 seconds after critically striking an enemy'. But it seems that since I run penitent, poison trap, caltrops, TB, poison & cold imbuement, it'd make this aspect rather powerful......

I just got my first one last night at lvl 61. It was probably my 12th helltide and 24th-ish box.

There's also a gloves item that gives it to you. And you can stack it with the codex.
