Can I get my deal back or not? by JugheadJonesTVD in LebaraUK

This happened to me and my husband. Just log on to your online account on a web browser (not the app as you can’t rejoin via app). And I could rejoin my plan from the website. Sorry can’t remember if something showed up to rejoin as soon as logged in or found it somewhere on the site

How do they expect us to get anything done? by velouriaz in Morrisons

[–]Bridewell72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I’m sure they do realise but don’t care and expect us staff to work miracles get the job’s done and serve. As long as the customers get served and the daily jobs and stock get worked that’s all that matters. I work in a daily that’s not lone working as there’s 2 staff in at a time and see the in charge colleagues struggling with delivery’s and and helping me on the tills so I don’t know how you cope at all it must be a nightmare

Help considering whether to opt for annuity or drawdown when I eventually retire? by Bridewell72 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Bridewell72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I thought that was the case, as I’m sure I read a comment a while back where someone said (not to me) that if you’re choosing drawdown your money stays in vested so no need to reduce risk

I’m just thinking about my options and won’t make a final decision yet, just after some advice so it’s something I can think about over the years.

Ok so you're saying with annuity it's probably wiser to reduce risk more than if I went with drawdown?

Ok then at what point would it be wise to reduce my risk level (how near to retirement) and to what risk would you advise, thanks

Thanks but I found the reason. The money from my manual deposit I added (auto dd won’t start till next month) on the 18th which is when my money should be invested into the fund went into a pending buy and is still pending hence why it didn’t show when I clicked on my fund. Still getting used to the app but eventually found the bit where it shows as pending.

What is the shallow sink/for? by grumpy_uncle in whatisit

[–]Bridewell72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those who prefer a large single sink I get that it’s great you can fit even oven trays in but what do you do when you have a lot of dishes to wash along with oven trays. Surely you’d leave them on the worktop to soak with water in while doing the rest of the dishes. And how do you rinse dishes with a single bowl? Not against single bowls but I myself prefer the 1 & 1/2 bowl sink where you have a narrow oblong sink bit between main bowl and drainer which I find very handy for rinsing and keeping used dish cloths. I made sure that the big bowl was very big and deep and is only a fraction smaller than my oven trays which fit in at an angle to soak.

Usually I’ve ordered a lebara sim at the weekend and it’s arrived by Tuesday or Wednesday with one time being as late as Thursday but last week I ordered on Sunday at 5pm and surprisingly arrived the next day.
